There's always something cultural happening in this square. Locals gravitate to this place and best of all, it's shady. After shopping, we always go there to sit a spell. Sometimes there's Hawaiian music and on the weekends crafts are sold. We found out about its history in our Maui Trailblazer guidebook and took a walking tour of the town. Lahaina... more

You won't believe it until you see it these trees are just breath taking. We stopped by just for curiosity and were in awe!!! more

The Banyan Tree on Front Street in Lahaina, Maui was one of our favorite places to just sit and people watch. This tree starts roughly in the center of the city block, and has branches that fall down to the ground to make new roots that support the very long branches that cover the whole city block! If you're in Lahaina make a short walk down the street to see this tree. It actually looks like a bunch of trees but pretty amazing when you realize that the trunks are all part of the same tree! It's the largest banyan tree in the US and over 125 years old. Worth a look-see if you are in the... more
