The attraction GOLDEN GATe is a key highlight in San francisco.The view of the bay and the walk on the bridge is truely mesmerising I recomment who ever visits the Baya rea should defintiely plan a trip there.Just ahead is a beautiful city of Sausalito which is worth the trip as well. more

I initially was sastisfied to just see the bridge and take a few pictures. However, my fellow travelers wanted to walk it. From our hotel on Lombard St, getting there simply meant hopping on a line 28 bus. This was an efiicient way to get there and back and we didn't deal with parking at the base of the bridge.... more

For a great trip, rent a bike from Fisherman's Wharf and cycle along the front past Crissy Field to Fort Point under the bridge, then go back to the Warming Hut, turn right and head up to the bridge and over to the other side. Went through and had to pay 6$. Kind of steep I think for about a 1 minute drive. It was kind of cool but nothing really really that exciting. I guess everybody else never drove over a bridge before. more

The bridge dominates the city linking two massive land structures over a narrow opening into the amazing bay. The construction leaves a work of beauty that is as functional today as when it was first imagined. This is a must see. Beautiful. more

This is one of the best attractions I visited while in San Francisco. It's so majestic and incredible when you cross over the GGB.
