Budget travellers do get wider choices in Tokyo as several chain hotels sprang up running like this Chisun brand lodgings offer. Its location is hard to beat as being in central Tokyo and next to Akasaka stn along Chioyda line. We found this hotel on wotif.com to be rather cheap compared to other Tokyo hotels. Besides it was literally right next to the subway, so that was an added bonus.
