My husband and I stayed here for one week. We arrived at 2pm and were offered an upgrade right away because we are Marriott Gold members. Our room was ready and it was very nice and spacious (#348). The view was beautiful. We had breakfast in the room every day, there is a coffeemaker and good coffee, and we just... more

I actually loved the hotel and the beach, it was beautiful. The waitstaff are all nice and very helpful. My only disappointment was that my air conditioner in room 472 kept breaking in the middle of the night. I spent 4 nights with no air conditioner. They offered to let me move to another room but it was midnight and... more

This is a typical 4* USA brand, tired, over-used, non-customer friendly hotel. This hotel is a 4 sided 4 storey box with a central courtyard, so beware that only the outside wall of one of the 4 sides has a view of the ocean. Views are- The town..............the road! The Garden Left side.........next door construction sight! The Garden Right side......other... more

As much as I rely upon the reviews, I was determined to write one of my own upon my return from the Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort (although it is about 9 months later). Despite the weather and a poorly-planned flight schedule (my bad), the Caymans were nice and we had a overall good experience. As to the hotel itself,... more

We absolutely loved this hotel. It is not without flaws, but we are willing to overlook those because of all the rest which are so good. Lets take the flaws first. 1. They tried to charge us 100 dollar more for the room, the only reason we overcame this was because I had our confirmation with us. 2. They forgot... more

Do not stay at this hotel. It was the most terrible stay I've ever endured. My hotel room was broken in to. And what's worse is that they refused to do anything about it. I lost my cell phone, wrist watch, shoes and some clothing. Their reasoning was that they claimed that their rooms cannot be broken into. Not a... more

Based on my reads of other reviews my wife and I were truly looking forward to our stay in the Caymans. Unfortunately, the lack of quality support from the Marriott staff turned the tide on what was to be to what was. Booking: Am Marriott Silver Award member. Honeymooning to the Caymans. Reserved room several months ago. When making reservation,... more

We arrived just prior to noon, had to wait until 2pm to get into our room...while waiting enjoyed complimentary champaign and beach area. Stayed at the resort with my wife and two daughters (24 and 19)...we all had a pleasant stay and enjoyed friendly hotel staff. We found the rooms very nice with comfy beds, plenty of storage and a... more

I've traveled all over the Carribean and "for -the-money", it is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at. The rooms were very nice (very tropical), clean, and very well maintained. Our room (1st floor) opened into the courtyard. It was a very lush area with turtles, parrots, and small iguanas. The staff was one of the nicest, most polite,... more

We flew to Grand Cayman Island & stayed at the Marriott Beach Resort during spring break (don't go during spring break--Miami airport was a zoo on the way back home). The resort was very pretty, the staff friendly and the food was very good, though pricey. The resort has the best beachfront around with very little rock or coral. A... more
