Just returned from a week in St. Thomas at the Wyndham. The weather was not the greatest (maybe it had something to do with Gustav!) but we can't say enough about the beauty of the island. Shopping in Havensight and Charlotte Amalie was great, especially liquor and cigarettes. The people who worked at the resort were friendly and helpful. The... more

I was so worried about my stay at this hotel. Several people on this website said they had a terrible time and they didn't like it. Upon arriving I did have to wait in a line to check in and they didn't have my name in the system. However, I found out they put the room in my husbands name.... more

The hotel is located in a great location with a wonderful view. Some of the staff were really great, mainly the bartenders. We had an awesome view from our room (bay view). OVerall we had an awesom time with the watersports, laying out on the beach and taking advantage of the all-inclusive package and would go back. Most people staying... more

I never made it to the hotel because the reservation process and customer care unit at Wyndham were unacceptable. I was going to St.Thomas for business and wanted to stay at the hotel where one of my events was taking place. I first went to Expedia and Orbitz to check their prices and then I went to the hotel site... more

This hotel provides a good stay at St. Thomas, but there are positives and negatives worth mentioning. Some reviewers have an axe to grind, we didn't - so take this review to heart. First the positives. Rooms are very nice, neat, and with great views of the ocean. Nice beds. The pools are nice, although they need a little updating.... more

Just returned after a four night all inclusive stay. The resort is clean and the public areas are well kept. The rooms were in good condition and housekeeping was excellent. The shuttle runs to the pool and beach areas frequently and while not as convenient as other resorts the shuttle was ok The front desk was not helpful with any... more

We paid for an all-inclusive ocean front room at the time of booking, 3 months prior to the vacation. Upon arrival, we were told that they had over booked and that they would not be able to accomodate us the first night. Further, they offered no apologies and told us to return the next day. We returned the next morning... more

My husband (Michael Matthews)and I just returned from our vacation and we stayed at the Sugar Bay Hotel in St. Thomas. This was our first time on the Island so we did a lot of research to make sure that we had the most enjoyable time. We decided to stay at Sugar Bay (Aug.13-Aug.17)because according to the the web site,... more

We booked this vacation as a twenty fifth anniversary vacation and found it to be a dream come true. From start to finish we had a magical vacation. The resort is beautiful and well maintained. When we arrived we were greeted warmly and welcomed home. Our room was wonderful with an amazing view! It was clean and appealing with a... more

We just got back from a 5 night stay at Wyndham Sugar Bay. In summary, the location is beautiful, the resort is extremely clean, the service is hit or miss, the pool and beach were great, and the food is nothing special. My wife, daughter and I got a good deal on the all-inclusive plan and felt that despite the... more
