Sandyport is in the RCI timeshare company. The "resort" is just ok. The timeshare was gift from a friend and for this my husbsnd and I were most appreciative. The property itself is average. In my opinion it should be dropped from the RCI list. Do not go to Sandy Port expecting a nice beach or pool. The beach across... more

I booked Sandyport through RCI and was assured that I was getting a Royal Crown Resort equal to my own. I was to be disappointed. The resort itself has not been a Royal Crown resort sine 1996 and 1997. It was quite rundown, and the beach area was filthy, the entire time, and no effort was made to clean it... more

I spent the first weekend of December at the Sandyport with four of my friends. The resort grounds are absolutely gorgeous, you walk amongst the buildings and you look out over beautiful lagoons. The rooms are a good size but are a bit worn around the edges. The pool needs a little bit of work but the beach is really... more

Our stay at Sandyport was most enjoyable. We were 2 adult couples. We had a suite and our travel partners had a room that ajoined our suite. We were on the main floor looking out in to the channel. I spent many hours on the deck with either a coffee or beer in hand watching boats go by. Very relaxing.... more

I went with my family, husband, and daughter and there where 12 of us total and we loved the quiet and calmness of the resort and was great for me and my family, we loved being able to choose to either go to the beach or to the pool, I thought the rooms where great and very clean, and the... more

All-in-all, our stay at Sandyport was okay. We reserved a studio which was enough for two people. The resort itself was quiet and kind of out-of-the-way. It was no problem getting around during the day when you can use the jitney for a dollar per person. But at night, it was expensive to get around by using the taxi. There... more

"Faded Splendor"-- This is the term that I would use to describe the resort. Overall, it looks like it was truly great at one time but the elements and age have begun to show, making the resort look less than desireable in some areas (the pool facility) but nonetheless still very clean, safe and comfortable. If you go strictly for... more

i am a budget minded guy and have just started to travel at a late age so i tend to pay less to travel my region (miami) more. this hotel is in the northern coast of the bahamas called cable beach. it reminded me of the buildings in williamstad, with their bright art deco colors. when i entered the room... more

We stayed at Sandyport 4/12-19/08. After a long day of flight delays and missed flights we finally arrived 4 hours later than expected and were greeted by Cameron (front desk) and Kevin (seems to do a lot of everything). Cameron was very kind and helpful. Kevin helped us to our room, pointing out important things along the way and always... more

Stayed in unit 226 23-29 Feb. Location was good for us. Quiet, very relaxing. We did not want to be around a lot of noise. Had to use a taxi or bus most of the time. The rooms could stand a little upgrading. Condos furniture was worn and dated but still adequate. Worst part was kitchen, it was well worn... more
