This hotel is quaint and a good value for the dollar. The pros: friendly staff, free breakfast, refrigerator in room, clean, full balcony, nice pools, good on site restaurant/bar, nice views, close to UNEXSO, shopping and beaches. The cons: mattresses were uncomfortable, in room safe didn't work, not a lot going on. I'd stay there again - the beaches are... more

This is an excellent hotel, the only exception on the time spent here was that they did not have my room ready when i arrived. Otherwise the staff is freindly and restaurant was about what you would expect from a boutique hotel. more

We run a Scuba Shop in CT and took a group to Pelican bay last October. This hotel was was right next to UNEXSO dive shop which made it very convenient to make the boat on time every morning. The hotel was also right next to the marketplace which had the best restaurants we ever ate at. We can't forget... more

We got back from Pelican Bay almost a week ago. It was wonderful! The people in the Bahamas were the nicest I have ever met. NOBODY was rude! Everyone was just so helpful and happy all the time! The location of this place is perfect. Don't let not being right on the beach scare you! It is a really short... more

I just returned from a 3 night stay at Pelican Bay Resort. I had stayed there a week for the first time back in July in one of their suite and had such a great time decided to go back now for a quick weekend getaway with my sister. It is a beautiful well maintained resort & very convenient to... more

If you want a place to relax, this is it! The Pelican Bay Hotel is great, and this was our second time there to visit. The hotel is boutique style and each room has a different style. I would recommend the suites (very large with a separate bedroom with a king bed). There is a separate kitchenette and living area... more

Great place, awesome location (don’t let it not being on the beach fool you) You are so close to the market and restaurants, the hotel is just in a very convenient location I thought. Also where you catch the Taino beach ferry is right beside the resort as well. Few things I wish they had were dvd players in the... more

Stayed here for four nights at the end of September, which is a very slow time of year in Grand Bahama. On the one hand, fewer "bad" tourists around, mostly people stopping in the area off boats and a few odd characters straight out of central casting. The biggest negative though is that a lot of restaurants, bars and stores... more

This was like my 7th time, I think. I've lost count. Always a great stay with them. upon arrival my room was not ready, instead of waiting for a room to become available, I was upgraded to a suite. I love their suites, they are very roomy, It's like having my own little apartment. Once I got to my suite, I... more

I just got back from a 3 night stay at Pelican Bay with my kids, all over 18. I have stayed at the Westin across the street and while it is an excellent hotel it is a bit too large for my taste. I have stayed at Pelican Bay at least 6 times in the last few years and have... more
