This hotel is located on the same beach front property as the westin and is across the road from the port lucaya marketplace. The staff are well trained and able to help with any questions and tour arrangements. I have stayed here twice now and the rooms are fairly large and always clean. The only restauarnt i have tried was... more

My wife and I stayed at the Sheraton at Our Lucaya from October 16 – October 22. Our experience was right in line with our expectations thanks to tripadvisor. The grounds are very nice, with plenty of room to spread and lots of nice beach and surf. Spots on the sand in the shade are in short supply and go... more

Visited the Sheraton Our Lucaya for a long weekend with my husband. Our trip was paid for with Sheraton points, so I can't comment on the price. The biggest plus to this resort is the location. The beach was just a short walk across the pool area. The outdoor facilities were clean and well maintained. The room was of adequate... more

I stayed with my wife and little boy for 7 days at the Sheraton, where I payed for the all inclusive package. Our stay could be summarize as follows. The GOOD: the hotel and other facilities are nice and clean, and the people are VERY nice... The BAD: at the restaurants the service is not consistent. Some days your meals... more

I went with a friend to Freeport, Grand Bahama and stayed at the Sheraton at Our Lucaya - Port Lucaya. I read some negative reivews, but we found for $166/night including service charges & taxes this was quite a deal! I would not say we were in luxury accomocations, but the room was very clean, beds were very comfortable and... more

Well I have to admit, booking a vacation to the Bahamas in the middle of hurrican season was a little risky, but I read the reviews and decided to take a chance. Wonderful weather and the perfect time to go. I was looking to get away on a quiet beach and read a few books and veg with my boyfried.... more

My and my husband just returned from a vacation for our anniversary on Grand Bahama Island, and were very disappointed. I am a big researcher for vacations we take and did my fair share of investigating before we booked and left. Well to begin TAXI's : we decided against renting a car for the simple fact that driving is on... more

My husband and I stayed at the Sheraton Grand Bahama for three nights over Labor Day weekend. I will offer the caveat that our experience was not completely typical - Hurricane Hanna was pending, and all water activities were canceled as a result of the rough ocean. We are divers, and were disappointed by this, so our vacation was somewhat... more

I went to Sheraton Our Lucaya with my wife for summer vacation for 6 nights. The hotel is really beautiful: the pools are wonderful and flowers and palm trees everywhere (you are able to use both Sheraton and Westin facilities). The beach is big, white sand, crystal clear water and sunbeds. They organize a lot of things on the beach... more

Beside all bad review’s I read from Sheraton Lucaya, I went to Grand Bahama with my family and try to see by myself, if it’s worth or not. But, of course, I get it disappointed! Bahamas was an old dream that became a little nightmare … nothing compares to the Spanish Caribbean Islands. First it was the Hotel, not likely... more
