This hotel is not the Ritz, it doesn't have a world class exercise facility (though the little gym and little pool are fine), and it's a 3 minute walk to the heart of downtown where you'll likely have to pass one or two people who look like they've come across hard times... ...so what? The hotel is very conveniently located.... more

We booked a penthouse, jacuzzi suite for an anniversary getaway. I was a bit worried when I read the other reviews but decided to go ahead anyway. It was great! The two story suite was huge! Living room with fridge and microwave as well as a half bath on the first floor with bedroom, full bath, king bed and jacuzzi... more

This hotel is not a bad price, but we had 2 problems which concerned us greatly. 1) First of all, when I booked my room through a popular website, I booked a "Deluxe 2 Queen Suite". When we got to the room, there was one King bed, and a sofa bed, in a room smaller than most places I stayed... more

This hotel had a lot of positives. The hotel itself is nice, the rooms are HUGE , the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was large, the rooms were clean and the staff was nice and they have free coffee in the lobby and a free continental breakfast. So why only the neutral rating? There were also some things that were... more

Even though the room was nice with a fireplace, sink and fridge, it was literally one street away from a drug-infested ghetto. I did not feel safe walking around the neighborhood of this hotel. They also have a mandatory $25 daily fee for valet parking. They won't let you park your own car. I would not stay at this hotel... more

My husband booked this one through Orbitz, and I usually do the booking so should have been sure he didn't use them. It's awful to go through a 3rd party, especially when something goes wrong and they don't want to fix it. The hotel advertises itself as a completely non-smoking facility, which is something we like to look for, but... more

I stayed at this hotel last week and arrived on a cold snowy and rainy day, so was very moody to begin with! the hotel rooms were nice and clean, I had a sofa, fridge, microwave, sink, a safe, desk, TV and drawers. there were no wardrobes. The view was boring and was some kind of side street and a... more

My friends and I were on a road trip from New York to Montreal, by way of Niagara Falls and Toronto. We stayed at the Comfort Suites, City Centre, for two nights and were very pleased with it. The hotel is clean, and spacious. Nothing special, but comfortable and well equipped. Nice, albeit small, pool and hot tub on the... more

Jan 18, 2008 I recently spent 5 days in Toronto and stayed at the Comfort Suites City Center with my boyfriend. We found the room to be clean and the staff all seemed to be both helpful and friendly. We had a suite with 1 queen bed which also had a desk, a sofa, mini fridge and microwave it was your... more

After my reservation at a different hotel was cancelled prior to my visit, I was desperate to find a room in Toronto for a Saturday night in September '05. After searching endlessly what seemed like a sold out night in the city, I finally stumbled upon this place online. Without even checking anything about the place, I just booked it.... more
