We flew into Vancouver late on Sept. 23/08 and rented a car, as we were taking the ferry from the Tsawwassen terminal to Victoria the next morning. We needed accommodation overnight and although I knew we could choose any hotel near the airport, it would have meant a long drive to the ferry terminal early the next morning and we'd... more

I would never have found this hotel without Tripadvisor. I arrived at Vancouver pretty jet-lagged, with an early morning ferry to Galiano the next morning. It was a reasonably priced cab ride from the airport, and a free shuttle bus to the ferry terminal the next morning. Huge room , well equipped. Rather 50s feeling to the staff and restaurant... more

We stayed here last weekend for my Sister in laws wedding in the area. The rooms although quite dark were very clean and comfortable. We stayed in a comfort suite which had a small living room area as you walk in with a pull out couch. There's no natural lighting in this part of the room so it is very... more

Stayed here after flying into Vancouver in evening. ($45 taxi ride from airport which seems fair.) Arrived to a large sign in foyer announcing that we had been picked as "Special Guest of the Day", which meant we were upgraded to a suite with jacuzzi, very large double bedroom with TV, small sitting room with TV, desk, etc, plus good... more

We had the pleasure of not only staying in one of the hotel's jacuzzi suites overnight, but our son also had his wedding reception catered by the hotel in one of their ballrooms. If anyone is looking for a place to hold a catered function, look no further! The service we received was excellent, and the food was great (we... more

As I always use Trip Advisor if I am prebooking I only choose hotels / B&B's that review well. Hence my my scores are usually high, suggesting that I am easliy satisfied. That is far from the truth as we like good quality and value for money and thankfully using TA we get that.. We used this hotel after a... more

We stayed at this Hotel because it was the only place close to where we were going to a Xmas Party and didn't want to drink and drive. It didn't look that great from the outside but it turned out to be much better inside. Our room was like a suite with a separate sleeping area in one room with... more

Stayed at the hotel one week for a family reunion in the area. Also used the hotel as a base to take the ferry to Victoria and make day trips into Vancouver. Suite allowed for two rooms to sleep in at night. With two T.V.'s in separate rooms for the kids during downtime, a fridge, sink and microwave as well.... more

Although the hotel looks and operates a bit like a motel, its well above that standard. An all suite hotel, the rooms are bright with some kitchen facilities (Microwave, Sink, Fridge), nicely decorated, with comfy beds. The hotel is a few minutes from the BC Ferries Terminal that will take you to Vancouver Island in around 90 minutes. The food... more

Stayed one night as we missed the last ferry to Victoria (had a 3 hour wait at the Peace Arch border crossing!) Huge suites! Lots of room for two adults and two older teenage boys. Large bathroom with jacuzzi and shower, plus double sinks. Had a full kitchen, which we did not use, but will remember this for our next... more
