We spent 4 days at this wonderful B&B October 20-23 to celebrate our 25th anniversary. The Heritage Suite was everything promised -- the view was great, the bed very comfortable and the steam shower was awesome! We had everything we needed for our "home away from home." Chris gave wonderful "back roads" directions to places we wanted to see. We... more

We stayed in the upstairs corner suite overlooking Lunenberh Harbor. We got there on a rainy Oct 1 (Rates went down from $189 to $149) We didn't get the royal welcome either bc muffins were being cooked, and we were the only guests scheduled that day. SO WHAT! I just called them on my cell, and we got the royal... more

We booked this property because of the positive reviews we read on Trip Advisor. All I can say is, those other travellers couldn't have stayed in the Heritage Suite as we did. Apart from the well-equipped modern bathroom, the rest of the property did not impress. Non did the proprietors. They were not there to greet us on the afternoon... more

Stayed at the Addington Arms for my birthday, a romantic weekend getaway. One night only, but loved our time there. We were on the top floor, the stairs were a lot if you weren't used to them, but we made it out fine. Breakfast was excellent, so tasty! I loved the steam shower, however my partner wasn't too keen on... more

We had a wonderful two nights in the "Spanker Sail suite". Although we knew that it was a suite, we did not expect a genuine big city hotel-style suite, complete with a jacuzzi tub. The decor of the dining rooms and hallways is inspired by local nautical themes, and added to the atmosphere of our visit. Chris' recommendations for places... more

We enjoyed two great nights in the Heritage Suite. There were beautiful views over the harbor and sun was shining in from all directions. The top floor suite was spacious and comfortable and quiet. The internet worked well most of the time, and the TV always had plenty of channels. The bathroom was huge and we had lots of hot... more

The Addington Arms was beyond my expectations. I thought it would be great but it was just perfect. My husband and I stayed in the Flying Jib and it was decorated beautifully. There were so many little extra details that just made it even more special, aromatherapy steam room, incredible comfortable bed, a beautiful view of the harbour, etc. There... more

We stayed one, rainy night in May. Perhaps we made a bad choice in the Flying Jib room as the decor was much more African/eclectic than we'd expected from the website. The bathroom was beaufiful though - very light and modern. Being able to sit in comfort in our room and watch a dvd was also a real pleasure, as... more

Spent May 8th &9th in the "Flying Jib" room at Addington Arms and I it was a good choice. The room was huge, and Chris seemed to have a genuine interest in our comfort. One example in particular had her offering me her own cold medication as she noticed I was under the weather. The breakfasts were excellent, and based... more

I only had the privilege to spend one night at the Addington Arms Bed and Breakfast in Lunenburg, but that just gives me added incentive to come back again and again. I spent a week exploring Nova Scotia, and this property provided, by far, the best accommodations I had the entire time. The owners, Dan and Chris, were warm, friendly... more
