I stayed at the hotel for a week in september with a group of danish turist. The smelly lift (urine from partying people from the street!!!) the not helpful staf, the missing staff for breakfast, and general worn down hotel. I have seen a lot as a travel leader - this was not acceptable. When aproached the manager it just... more

This hotel was really poor. We booked last minute and it was a roof over our head but the place was a real mess. The decor was tatty, the rooms were cramped, the services were difficult to say the least, the breakfast was of a poor quality with too little space available. Everything seemed to be done on the cheap... more

It was a standing joke that we called this the "No Quality" Hotel. A lift that only worked sometimes, mould in the bath, a lumpy bed, a TV with (only just) the terrestrial channels... all in all not a *** hotel. On the plus side the hot breakfast was good and plentiful, but overall this got nowhere near justifying its... more

Like many reviews here, the hotel is in such a bad state, hardly worth of it's claimed 3 stars rating. I am always suspicious with hotels that have the name 'quality' or similar in the name, it's like countries with democratic in the name, it's usually anything but. The room is old and tired. The first lift smelled of urine,... more

Where does one start? The tatty carpet in reception with the peeling off masking tape? The lift buttons that are broken? The very slow lifts? The rooms on the second floor with ultra-thin connecting doors to the neighbouring rooms that let all the sound through? The unusual odour in many of the rooms and corridors? The baking hot meeting rooms?... more

We booked our 3 night stay a few weeks ago, my sister lives over there and had stayed there for one night before moving into her flat. She recommended it, so we booked it online. After the booking, I started to read all the reviews and have to admit I totally dreaded getting there, I couldn't believe how bad the... more

We booked two nights at this hotel to help our daughter move out of her uni halls. Only chose this hotel as others were fully bo oked. Our room was clean but rather tired and shabby looking. We were impressed with the shower but that was the only good point really. Breakfast was plentiful and lots of choice but the... more

The hotel is centrally located, thats a given. But so are many other hotels which MUST be better than this! Firstly, the price - £116 for one night. Secondly, our room stank of cigarette smoke and had a massive peeling brown damp patch on the ceiling. But we were only there for one night, so we quickly dumped out things and... more
