Stayed three nights on a 'three nights for two' deal. We had a standard room which had been recently refurbished. The decor was modern but not stark. It wasn't the most spacious of rooms but we only slept there so this wasn't an issue. The bed was very comfortable, although we will probably bring our own pillows next time as... more

I live locally and booked the Park Avenue for a three day residential conference in September for 35 colleagues from several different countries. I chose to stay in the hotel myself to be close to my colleagues. The room I was given was recently refurbished, airconditioned, large and well equipped with iron, tea/coffee making facilities and flat screen tv. The... more

Review based on an Executive Double room. A link to room photos; http://www.flickr.com/photos/deanorox/sets/72157607909755293/detail/ • Using the hotel for an anniversary getaway, we opted for an Executive Double room, as it boasted luxury and style for a very reasonable price of £129, although I believe this price can change slightly based on dates. • Upon arrival, we had our room key... more

Booked it for my wife's wake. Everything seemed to be going fine until the bill. As all the numbers that I had not booked it for did not turn up so had a bit of food left over ie one tray of sandwiches. These were not left out and when I questioned this they said that I could not take... more

We stayed at the Park Avenue Hotel on Saturday 19th July as we were attending a wedding party there. We arrived mid-morning, not expecting to be able to check in so early but we received a very warm welcome from reception staff and they told us our room was ready. The part of the hotel our room was located in... more

Stayed here for one night on sunday 13.07.08. Me and my friend were the first people to sample the newly decorated room we were in as it was only completed 2 days before our arrival and we were really impressed. The bedrooms are really modern and the decor and furnishings are to a very high standard. Lcd tv attatched to... more

Over the last 8 months I have had the distinct pleasure of staying at the park Avenue Hotel. The purpose of my trips was business. The accomodations have been very clean and well taken care of. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The one thing that stands out in this hotel is the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. more

We were booked in a s part of a large group. Despite being told we had booked a family room for four and a room for three at set prices, the hotel saw fit to change this arrangement to 2 doubles and a room for three at rates they chose on the day. The family were split into 2 rooms... more

On what must have been the busiest weekend in Belfast - football, McFly concert and a car rally, I ended up paying £400 for three nights at the Park Avenue. The public areas are attractive, with a modern decor, and the friendliness of the staff and the good breakfast, did much to lift my spirits. I loathed returning to my... more

As others state, it is a little bit off beaten track in east Belfast but we have used it as a base to visit our relatives for a number of years now and also to visit friends in Helens Bay so it is a perfect base for us. It is a well designed hotel with some views overlooking bay side... more
