Stayed for one night for work purposes and found the Jurys Inn to be excellent. Very friendly on arrival at reception, very large and clean room, other staff were very nice when walking around the hotel and a superb location if you have a train to catch the next morning - 3 mins walk from Waverley Station. All in all,... more

We arrived as a party iof 19 celebrating a 50th Birthday. On arrival we had nothing but excellent service, from the reception to the waiters and the house keepers. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms and beds were comfortable and clean. The hotel is in an ideal spot for sight seeing as you are near the Royal Mile. A... more

Paid 130 pounds (excluding breakfast) for a night stay and definitely did not worth its money! At first we called them to check if there was a double room available and they confirmed they did, but when we arrived there after 5 min since our call we were notified that there was not actually a double room available. After we... more

The hotel is located a short walk from Waverly Station, where the bus comes in from the airport. The room was modern and very clean, and priced reasonably. Up a few stairs (called closes) is the Royal Mile, with many restaurants and shops and a short walk from Edinburgh Castle, and the main shopping area. more

We stayed at Jurys Inn for 2 nights in August with a group of friends for a hen weekend. Price was ok considering excellent location. Rooms were good and clean. We were staying at the back of the hotel which we found very noisy as this seemed to be where bins and laundry trollies are kept which started rattling at... more

Our booking was for a large standard room with double bed and sofa bed, at check in I asked for the sofa bed to be made up, we were asked to wait for 10 mins, which we were happy to do and were offered a choice of sitting in the bar or comfy sofas in reception. On getting our room... more

Stayed at the Jurys for three days in August 08. I had booked the room as part of a package with Rabbies, so I'm not really sure how much they charged for the B&B only. However, I saw the rates at the reception desk and I would definitely not pay 250 pounds for this hotel. My wife and I had... more

Just back from three nights at this seriously overpriced hotel. It was the Edinburgh Festival but surely no reason to charge £250 per night for a room (£88 quoted on hotel website). Location very good but service dreadful. We were refused a drink in the bar at just past 1am and told it was closed. According to the brochure, it... more

We traveled via train to Edinburgh to stay at the Jury's on Jeffrey Street August 10-15, 2008. Rooms were a nice size, we had requested either side-by-side or connecting for teens. We got two rooms with one in between. Not a big deal, just meant more hall travel. Rooms had a double bed and a single. Extra pillows too. Mattresses... more

As we didn't pay a huge amount for our 1 night stay I didn't expect the lap of luxury and so wasn't disappointed! However, the reception area is modern and the bar/restaurant area also looks good albeit I didn't use it. So I did ,for a moment, think I may be wrong in my assumption... Our room was a good... more
