The Hotel itself is on the seafront with good views of Arran and easy access to the beach. There is little parking in the grounds but a large free public carpark opposite. I had a stay at the Horizon Hotel in Ayr for one night this week and loved it. The room was comfortable, the staff were great and the restaurant staff did their best to make sure I did not go hungry despite arriving late in the evening. I will certainly go back again! more

very nice. Busy hotel situated on the sea front in Ayr. Nice clean reception area and very nice rooms. The receptionist in common with all staff was friendly and professional. Stayed for one night in July. Receptionist very friendly. Room was compact, but clean and quiet, not cheap at 80 pounds for the night. Stayed at the Horizon in a family room for two nights. £30 per adult and £10 per child on bed and breakfast basis. Recently renovated room was HUGE.
