Location is always our top priority when travelling ... and that's what the hotel is all about! Location, location, location! Situated at Temple Bar itself, everything is within walking distance. We took the 747/748 bus from the airport to O'Connell Street, and the hotel is just 10 minutes walk away; Trinity College is 5 minutes walk; City Hall is just... more

Temple bar Hotel Location: Temple Bar, Dublin 2 Room Booked: Standard Double. Dates of stay: September 10-14th, 2008 Cost: 655 Euros (double occupancy) Location: The Temple Bar Hotel is located bang in the middle of Temple Bar, probably the busiest part of Dublin after 10pm. For that reason, if you plan to sleep at night, it may be better that... more

I am quite easy to please. My only requirements are a clean room and bathroom. Unfortunately, this was not to be here. Upon arrival the lobby and outside looked fine. However, when we went to our room, the first thing we noticed was a large white stain on top of the bed quilt!! When pulled back more unsavoury marks were... more

Maybe I was lucky, or maybe my expectations are low, but I was very satisfied with this hotel as well as six out of seven I stayed in throughout Europe this year. The location is in the middle of many nightspots and shopping... Sadly, some bad Indian food in London and a horrible time in Heathrow airport kept me in... more

OK, this is a tough one. Dublin was the first portion of our Europe honeymoon. We spent a lot of money on other hotels, so this was our "thrify/resonable" hotel choice for this leg of the trip. I read all the reviews, and knew it was a gamble. I even brought my own pillowcases just in case. The hotel looks... more

I stayed at the Temple Bar Hotel on the 20th September 2008 as I was going to see The Mighty Boosh in the Olympia on Dame Street (which was brilliant by the way). From reading the reviews on Trip Advisor I decided the Temple Bar Hotel was my best option location wise especially as we were planning on going out... more

Without a shadow of a doubt, this was the worst hotel room I've ever had the misfortune to see. Although the facade and lobby were nice, the bedroom was hideous: tiny, old fashioned, generally gloomy. Then came the bathroom; mould in the corners of the bath, dirt in between the tiles, and half empty bottles of shampoo and shower gel.... more

This hotel is very convenient. Well located and a friendly staff. The breakfast is a must and they have special offers for two nights with dinner. Its on very center and despite the proc¡ximity of the bars there's no noise during night, if you are smart enogh to ask for an interior room not the one giving face to the... more

Although the front desk staff were a little stiff when we arrived we couldn't have been happier with our room. It was very large and comfortable with comtemporary furnishings. Our agent tried to discouraged us from staying there saying it tended to be noisy, however we did not find that to be the case. The location was ideal, easy to... more
