I had done the reading before I left for Paris in relation to the location of this hotel, and if you plan to stay here then it is essential that you know your way to the Hotel. The Allegro is situated 5/10 minutes from the Bel-Air Metro station which is on line six. The surrounding area is quiet residential, with... more

After hearing lots of stories about how small hotels were in Paris we were pleasantly surprised by just how big the rooms at the Allegro were. We booked a double room for about 10 nights. The rooms are exactly like the photos on the Allegro's web site. While small compared to North America the rooms were bigger than other hotels... more

My boyfriend and I stayed in this hotel for a weekend and I have to say I cannot fault it. Great value for money - not the Ritz but then we didnt pay Ritz prices. Staff were very friendly and all spoke good english and were not afraid to either. Room was pleasant and the cleaner done a great job... more

We stayed at the Allegro Hotel in the Bel Air/Picpus area of Paris. Staff were very helpful and friendly and room was clean and of adequate size. The bed was well overdue for replacement and not great for people with bad backs. The Hotel was well out of the centre of Paris and about 10 minutes walk to the nearest... more

Well, we didn't pay that much for our stay so our expectations weren't that high. We got a very small room, but the French aren't known for building big, where lots and lots of cigarettes had been smoked. The receptionist hardly noticed us when we checked out. But hey, they weren't unfriendly and the bed was nice. more

I was there in Sept 2004.. I like this hotel very much. First, it's located right next to a supermarket and lots of nice coffee shops and bakery around. it takes about 6 mins to get to the metro station and the neighborhood was very nice !! We feel safe to walk back to hotel during midnights~ Staff are very... more

Stayed at the Allegro for 5 nights in early Augst 2006. Hotel was really good. Staff were friendly and for those that do not speak French (like me!) their level of English was very good. There were three of us (myself, my wife and my daughter) in the one room - which was a triple room - with three single... more

Location is out of the centre and out of any interesint neighbourhood. Subway is about 800m from the hotel and takes you to the city centre in about 15 mins, which is OK. Rooms are OK, not big but not small either. I went to 3 hotels on the same trip (also to Libertel Bellechasse, Holiday Inn Montmartre), in which... more

My wife and I stayed at the Allegro for 2 nights 11th 12th Feb 2006 We found it was very good value for money, we booked through Alpha Rooms and total cost was £97. Our room on the 1st floor was very clean and everything was in good working order. The aircon had a heat facility which was usefull as... more

I stayed there for one night. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was small, but average size for France. Room was clean. The decor was dated and bordered on tacky. The bottom line is this place is fine for a quick stopover. If you need an element of romance, don't stay here. This Hotel is the equivalent of... more
