Travelled for holiday with my wife and 20 year old daughter. We normally stay in 5 star International hotels but decided to try an apartment with a separate bedroom - wasn't to sure if we would enjoy the experience. Sure, they don't have porters or an on site restaurant with room service. But they do have friendly helpful staff, daily... more

I like staying in Citadines apart-hotels. An apartment, basically a hotel room with a proper fridge, cooking facilities, dishwasher, etc. makes travelling more comfortable for me, especially in a place like Paris where there is such a selection of great food to buy and eat at "home". It also saves quite a bit of money not having to eat in... more

As this is a prestige aparthotel from the Citadines chain I think I was expecting something a bit better. I found it a bit soulless and dull, though it was modern, clean and ideal for travelling with children. I suppose it wasn't that different to the photos but I was a little disappointed, particularly as it's quite expensive. The bedroom... more

Well, this place is awesome. Located in the heart of Paris' opera district, it's located within walking distance to the Louvre and city centre. It ain't cheap but we stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment. It was spacious, modern with separate lounge room, TV in both rooms, and small kitchenette. It was off the main road so it was quiet.... more

We stayed for 5 days with our adult daughter in a one bedroom apartment. The location was very central to all the great sights and also to several subway stations. The apartment was small but adequate, the kitchen was just in the entryway with everything you needed, the lounge contained a foldout bed and the main bedroom had two single... more

I had a two night weekend stay at the Opera Citadines in May 2007. My wife and I were taking our usual Spring break with our married friends. We booked our stay via the Eurostar web-site to include accommodation and first class rail travel from London Waterloo. Total cost of the trip was £1000, only £350 of which was the... more

We stayed in a standard one bedroom apartment in July, 2 adults and 2 kids ages 6 & 4, for two nights. The room was a little smaller than we would have liked, especially the kitchen, but functionally everything worked well and we felt we got our money's worth. The hotel is expensive, even compared to other Citadines (which I... more

This must be the best family hotel in Paris. Stayed here for two nights with our two children, 10 and 7. Had a fabulous two-story garret apartment, with adult suite upstairs and the living area / kitchenette downstairs (including a large pull-out for the kids). The hotel is on a beautiful, quiet street and is ideally located for looking around... more

I stayed here for five week in Jan/Feb 2007. The apart/hotel is located in a very quiet and upscale neighbourhood with plenty of eating, shopping, entertainment options near round. For a business traveller it left a bit to be desired: the internet wouldn't work some days, there is no gym in the hotel and no room service options. I'd recommend... more

We stayed at the Citadines with our 1 year old baby at the end of Feb in a 1 bedroom. It is in the most perfect location, great walking distance to everything, very classy area. The Apart/hotel is quiet, clean and comfortable. All of the staff were excellent, in particular Alex at the front desk. He spoke English so well... more
