My partner and I booked this hotel directly after seeing it here. We stayed from Friday until Monday and found it to be overall - perfect. Location: In the 7th, quiet area, yet within easy walk to Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees, Louvre, Saint Germain and many other attractions. Rue Cler minutes away for a wonderful breakfast and supermarket/pharmacy even closer.... more

My boyfriend and I planned a trip to Paris and booked this hotel after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor. After booking the hotel on the hotel website, I sent an email requesting a room with a view. I received a response stating that it could not be guaranteed. We arrived at the hotel 1-2 hours before check in, but luckily... more

We booked this hotel because of the high ratings on Trip Advisor. While it did live up to what many people have written about in terms of the recent remodeling, our big problems was probable tiny roaches! On our first night, we accidently turned the fan/air conditioning (?) on, and we later noticed bugs that appeared to be tiny roaches... more

We stayed at the Hotel Duquesne Eiffel for four nights in October 2008. We booked our rooms almost a year ago and requested #55 & #56 based upon previous reviews. Although the hotel staff clearly indicated a specific room could not be guaranteed, we were fortunate to have our requests granted. We were not disappointed with the rooms or the... more

I chose the Duquesne Eiffel Hotel based on the hotel's location, price and favorable reviews on tripadvisor. I was not disappointed. Our room was on the 5th floor. While small by US standards, it was more than adequate. The room and bath were clean and well maintained. The staff were all very pleasant and most spoke english. One point mentioned... more

This hotel was chosen for us by our tour. After a night in the Hotel Splendid, we were sure that anything would be a step up. The Hotel Duquesne Eiffel said that they were upgrading our room because of the inconvenience of making us stay elsewhere our first trip, so that our room would have a view of the Eiffel... more

Winding up a positive 8-day stay. Here's how this place paid off: -- Quiet rooms! Paris can be noisy, but not here. If you need 2 rooms ask for 17 and 18, end units so no shared walls with others and you can create a mini-suite by locking an outside hallway door. -- Rooms recently redone, clean and well appointed.... more

This is a very well maintained property in good location near the Eiffel Tower and very close to the Metro station for exploring Paris. The rooms are very small but spotless, cosy feel and v comfortable bed. The hotel is very expensive for what it is but that seems to be the norm for the City as a whole. Free... more

Believe all the positive reviews you read about this hotel. We booked our room 9 months in advance and when we checked in, the room we originally requested was just what we got!! Our stay was for 6 nights and we could not have been more pleased with every aspect of the hotel and staff. Great location too! We will... more
