We contacted the Daphne six months before our visit to Rome and were so surprised when they informed us that they were all sold out! When they contacted us approximately two weeks before our visit, we jumped at the chance to fill in on a cancellation. From the get-go, I was amazed by the Daphne's level of service. They immediately... more

I just can't say enough about this hotel. Actually it is part of a condominium complex. We shared a two room suite on the first floor with another couple. The room between our two bedrooms was a great place to gather for a glass of wine after a long day or to check email on the hotel's computer. The rooms... more

Much better than I was expecting Great location, nice, modern, clean rooms; good breakfast. Absolutely fantastic and helpful staff which makes a huge difference. Only downside was our room had external (via the hallway) entry to the bathroom, which was still private bathroom. Free internet/laptop use in common area Good value, would stay again. Overall highly recommend it. more

This is a great location, knowledgable, friendly staff. It is definitely a bargain place. It is very clean, comfortable beds, the rooms are very small unless you luck out and get the suite that has a large bathroom with a huge bath tub. The only problem is that you cannot reserve these rooms. I thought that I had made it... more

We (my mother and I) stayed at Daphne Veneto at the beginning of April and had an amazing time. The staff just couldn't do enough for us - without being intrusive in any way . They made us restaurant reservations each night and chatted to us about what kind of evening we wanted and then found the right restaurant to... more

This inn was fantastic. If you don't want to pay for all of the service of a full service hotel this is great. There is not a 24 hour concierge, but we did get a cell phone with the owners numbers programmed in. Our hotel room was pretty big and the bathroom was bigger than ours at home. The view... more

During my stay I found Daphne Veneto to be very charming and worth every Euro I spent. I found Rome to be a very walkable city and thankfully the hotel was centrally located (Piazza Barberini) to most sights within the city. This was my first trip to Italy and after a long flight I was looking forward to getting to... more

We selected this based on other trip advisor comments – we were not disappointed. It is a small hotel, ideally situated a stone throw from the Piazza Barberini at the start of the Via Veneto – a short walk to both the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain or indeed most of the old city sights. The English speaking staff... more

This place got unbeilable reviews and I was expecting something like the Marinella in Venice. The place was above average for around the price. The staff are incredibly helpful. They've obviously read all the modern marketing/customer service related texts. One thing to note is don't bother taking their organised vehicle, it's a dodgey transit van (unless there's a big group... more
