We stayed at the Adriatic a couple of years ago and so enjoyed our experience, we did not think of staying anywhere else on our return to Rome. The location is ideal - within walking distance of most places and near the 40 Busstop which takes you to the Terminus/Rail station. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Although this... more

We booked two triple rooms for 6 people (including 4 teens). When we first booked, we were thinking of three things - air conditioning, location and value. We chose the Adriatic over a less expensive hotel, and found that an extra 10-15 Euros per night bought that air conditioning and terrific location at the Adriatic. We couldn't believe our luck... more

I've stayed here in November 2006 while my girlfriend was living in Rome. I was visiting her and caught a flight to Rome without any previous hotel booking. Hotels in Rome are extremely expensive, be aware. The cheaper ones are very difficult to find, all busy. First time i was in Rome visiting my girlfriend i stayed at Cascina Palace,... more

It is a typical European hotel. There is no breakfast, but there are plenty of places across the street. Great location and close to the major bus lines. Plenty of cheap places to eat just around the corner. The hotel was clean and staff very friendly. more

we stayed for 4 nights in february 2008 and found the location of the hotel excellent, very near the vatican and easy access by bus. The staff were all pleasant and very helpful. The room and en suite was modern and cleaned daily. Because of its location it can be noisy at night ,but I would still return again to this... more

I must have stayed here at least once a year for the last 3-4 years! You can't fault it's location, right next to Vatican. Short walk will get get you into main tourist areas of Rome. I have used this for weekend getaways also for watching rugby internationals. Front desk will organise anything for you, great for storage of luggage... more

I stayed at the Adriatic for the second time in March 07 (initial stay was July 06) and it was just as good as I remembered. The room was on a completely different floor, but was just as large, with a bath and over shower. The only down point was that the bathroom could have done with a re-paint. However... more

We arrived into Rome at about 6pm thinking that we had plenty of time to find accommodation. Were we wrong. Little did we know that the Pope was coming out the next day, and there were literally 1000's of tourists staying in Rome to see him. Eventually we found the Adriatic, and what a surprise it was. Hotel Adriatic is... more

Booked this hotel on last.minute.com. Was a little wary as got a really great price. No need to have worried, this hotel was comfortable, just a room but clean and in a fantastic location. It was really close to all the main attractions and the metro. The vatican is literally just 5 mins walk. Catsle angelo 5 mins the other... more
