just back from a holiday in USA which started with a 5 night stay at the Madison. The hotel was excellent in every respect - lovely rooms which were always spotlessly clean and an abundance of soft, fluffy towels in the big bathroom , excellent service from all staff who were always friendly and helpful. Didn't eat at the hotel... more

The Loews Madison is a solid choice for a stay in DC's business district. We spent time there while picking up our daughter from a nearby summer program at GWU -- technically pleasure, but for all intents and purposes business. The public spaces of the hotel (lobby, etc.) are immaculate, reflective surely of the grand reputation the property has enjoyed... more

We stayed at a Loews Madison for a weekend trip in DC. We found a nice promotion from Travelzoo for $130 for a Saturday night stay, which was a pleasant one. Upon entering the room, our eyes were set on a leather massage chair by the window. My wife and I probably used the chair 6 or 7 times in... more

We recently stayed here for two nights while my husband was in DC for business. It has a nice welcoming lobby and friendly staff but that was about as far as the wow factor went for me. The website claims the hotel was renovated in 2008 but that must be an ongoing process as the room we stayed in was... more

I would stay here again... The Madison is a beautiful hotel. The rooms were nice, the beds were super comfy, and it's a good value. I got the room for 120-130/night via Hotwire and I thought it was a great deal. The rates on Orbitz / Expedia were <$200 and worthwhile as well. The staff were super helpful and... more

It was my 1st visit to the nation's capital & my cousin was the one who booked this one, since she said this was a 4* hotel. The lobby was nice, classy, The room was on the small side. Staff was friendly. Location was good. more

What a fantastic hotel. I was here for a conference and had the best time. The service from the front desk to the concierge, bellmen, housekeeping, all were great. They made my stay very welcome. I especially loved the massage chair in the room. The location was also great, near metro and Dupont circle. Overall I would say this is... more

Since I booked through Priceline, I got my hotel room at a huge discount ($125.00 per night!), so the fact that we had no coffee pot or hair dryer is really not that big of a deal. We did have this great full body massge chair that was so nice after a day of walking! The bar was cozy and... more

I stayed in the Madison with my four year old daughter and 18 year old cousin for a weekend. It was a leisure trip to see the sights and go to the zoo. We absolutely loved this hotel. The room was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and the amenities in our room included: a human touch massage chair from the sharper image,... more

My wife and I stayed there one night when we were visting the sites in DC. We booked the room through priceline and paid $150 with the taxes. This is one of the nicest hotels that I have ever stayed in. The hotel is run by one of the most professional staffs that I have ever seen. When I checked... more
