We were 4 couples from Denmark and we had a wonderful time in this extraordinare riad. The services provided by Atika and her sisters were so perfect, wonderful food and a general helpfulness. The house is very beautifull and we loved to look at the antiquities all over the house. It is obvious that beauty comes before comfortableness in the... more

We too read the reviews and based our decision on Tripadvisor. Bruno managed to squeeze us in despite last-minute changes. Everything you have read about Numero 9 in not exagerated. Service and food were excellent. Everyone was very helpful, from start to finish. We too were treated to an excellent rooftop dinner prepared by Bruno. The riad is an oasis... more

If you go to Fez, you MUST stay with Stephen and Bruno. Their house is amazing and they are the loveliest hosts. We especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast (with homemade jams and fresh-squeezed juices) and relaxing on the gorgeous roof-top terrace with panoramic views of the Medina. It would be silly to stay anywhere else! more

Based on the previous reviews, I requested my travel agent to book Riad 9 for 3 nights during my stay in Fes. As I had experience that even hotels with no. 1 ranking in trip advisor were not that good in reality, I was a bit worry whether Riad 9 was as good as other travellers' comments. When I passed... more

While on holiday in Fez with two other girls, we were lucky enough to book our stay with Steven and Bruno in their lovely Riad near the heart of the Medina. Not only were our accommodations gorgeous, clean and comfortable - we felt each of our needs attended to at all times. Steven and Bruno along with their amazing 'family-like'... more

We booked this Riad because of all the great reviews. They were not wrong. Everything is true - the beauty, the comfort, the ammenities, the decor; but what really makes it unparralelled is the hosts - Steven and Bruno and their staff. They are beyond helpful and attend to every need, which in our case started well before we arrived.... more

To stay at Riad #9 is truly to feel like a guest in a luxurious private home, with the most gracious hospitality. We were greeted on our first night at the airport, where Stephen and Atika helped sort out the rental car return and then escorted us "home," where Bruno had a delicious and romantic dinner waiting. The same unobtrusive... more

My family and I have just returned from a 2-week tour of Morocco. The highlight of our trip was Fez and more particularly,Riad Numero 9. We had rented out the 3 suite riad in it's entirity for 4 nights and it went well beyond our expectations. From the moment we crossed the threshold and were greeted by a gracious housekeeper... more

As others have said, this riad is a gem, beautifully decorated and well located in the heart of the fascinating medina of Fes. But the factor that truly distinguished this sojourn was the hospitality of Stephen and Bruno, who made us feel like friends and honored guests, as well as their wonderful housekeeper Attica and their cat Natasha. They spent... more

We stayed here just before Christmas 2007. We were made to feel totally at home! A beautiful place - full of character and charm. In a great location (in the middle of the labyrinth!) Expectional hospitality. An amazing building. The reviews on this website are true!! more
