We had a great stay a the Residence Inn. The hotel is within walking distance to Sea World and Discovery Cove - 8 minutes if you walk briskly. The hotel has it's own shuttle service however the times are a bit inconvenient so we chose to walk to Sea World and take the the Sea World shuttle to Aquatica. The... more

We had a 2 week stay at this lovely hotel in July 2008. It is everything you would expect of a Marriott hotel; modern, smart, clean and good quality. Our room was large with 2 double beds, a large sofa, lounge chair and desk together with a kitchenette with a full size fridge freezer and dishwasher. All very modern and... more

We stayed at the Residence for one night as we wanted a low cost alternative to some of the other hotels that we'd stayed at in Orlando. The Residence Inn has large rooms, is clean and in a good location (near the main parks) if you have access to a car. We'd stayed at the hotel three years earlier and... more

My boyfriend and I arrived at 11am. We had just come off a long red eye flight and then had to drive 1 hour from Tampa. We were near delirious when we arrived and they were more than happy to accomodate us for an early check in. They did not have our specific room type available (1 queen), but upgraded... more

Am currently staying in this wonderful hotel. I can't say enough of this hotel. It was part of a Seaworld package and I chose this hotel solely because of the Marriott name and the free hot breakfast which many (if not all) Marriots have. And man, it did not disappoint. If the free breakfast is the draw to book this... more

My husband and I stayed in a studio unit. It was HUGE. The unit had a full kitchen with stove, microwave, sink, garbage disposal, dishwasher , full size fridge with an ice maker, and a coffee pot. The dining area seated two. The living room had a pull out couch and a chair and a televison. The work/office area had... more

This is the second time I stayed there with my husband and two children (ages 13 and 17) This place is terrific. We booked a two-bedroom suite, which I highly recommend with children. Everyone has privacy, 3 TV's, full kitchen, 2 bathrooms and everything is very clean. From our room(6th floor) we could see the evening fireworks at Disney. The... more

We just came back, first the positives: the pool was great, cold not heated, which I am use too. Lobby, store, pizza hut, the jacuzzi tub ( my son lived in it), the room was big, it was out dated, really needed alot of upgrades, like paint, the couch had stains on the cushions, it was clean but dirty too,... more

We've just got back today and can only say great things about this hotel. The rooms are huge and spotless even the kitchenette... cleaned everyday to a good standard. The pool area was great and you could swim up to 11pm and there's always loads of towels and beds. The FREE breakfast buffet was brilliant.... well organised and great food...... more

Pros: Relatively well run hotel. Lots of staff. Convenient to major highways. Cons: A big box hotel. The pool is too small to accomodate the crowds. Breakfast is hot, but is assembly line oriented and the food mediocre. They charge $1 for each local call. The cable set-up lacks Fox News (National) and other channels, and seems geared to get... more
