Spent a weekend here in August 2008. This Grande Lakes resort complex [the JW Marriott and the Ritz] are in a strange location--in the general neighborhood of the airport expressway and International Dr. It's not far from SeaWorld, but otherwise it seems a strange choice for a place to put a resort of this size. It appears they mostly do... more

My wife and I spent a week at the Ritz Carlton at the beginning of July. We can't speak highly enough of the hotel, the staff and the great customer service we received. Staff made every effort to remember our name despite the fact that the hotel could be very busy at times. Room service and front desk always called... more

We spent 5 nights at RC Grande Lakes during the first week of July. We booked 2 deluxe rooms through an excellent Virtuoso Agent and received a fabulous upgrade to a Suite with a connecting kids room. We have enjoyed many worldwide Ritz Carlton stays and this property, though not the prettiest, offered the best family-centered service, we have experienced.... more

Went on business and decided to bring boys along, ages 14 and 19.The executive sized beds are full sized beds. No one slept well the first night. We all woke up overly tired and cranky. Ordered two rollaways because there were no other rooms with larger beds other than king sized. The room was then very cramped. To add insult... more

We spent 1 night and 2 days at the Ritz Grande Lakes. Although the property is beautiful and the weather was perfect, we were disappointed with the quality of the service. It was July 4th weekend, and the property, along with the JW Mariott (adjacent property) were teeming with WAY TOO MANY people, a lot of whom looked like they... more

My husband and I just returned from our stay at the Ritz Carlton Grande Lakes over July 4th weekend. We were celebrating our anniversary and from the moment we walked in we felt wonderful. We were given a great view and a special gift was waiting for us in the room when we arrived. ( I noted in the reservation... more

I came here for a two day meeting (the Ritz is a VERY popular meeting hotel), and it was my first time staying at a Ritz Carlton brand hotel. I was completely blown away by their amazing customer service. It is like nothing I have ever experience before. Just to get a couple negatives out of the way, the housekeeping... more

Stayed for 3 nights (2-6 June) with my husband. I had requested a lake view room in my booking which was as usual not visible at check-in, but after asking the receptionist, got a lake view room afterall. We stayed in room 415 which was a lovely clean spacious room with a fantastic view of the lake and a lovely... more

We're just back from a 6 night stay at the Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes. The grounds are lush and beautiful, as is the lobby. Our room was a bit small, with a small balcony and decent sized bathroom. The room had 2 double beds, a computer desk and lounge chair, and entertainment center with a large flat screen TV. We overlooked... more

Things got off to a good start when i checked in and was given a cold towel for my sweating brow (it was hot outside). I was staying in Orlando for a conference. The hotel choice was out of my control as it was attached to the conference booking. The room was surprisingly small and only had a shower. I... more
