First off, the Dolphin hotel was a very nice looking hotel and the inside of the hotel was beautiful. But, the staff and prices were un-bearable. You have to pay $9 a day parking even if you don't move your car. The gym is something like $8 a day also. I reserved a king size bed from Expedia.com and I... more

We stayed here for 2 nights in November. I was a bit apprehensive given the reviews on the site however it was fabulous. We were allowed early check in and were given a room with resort views which was an upgrade. Hotel was clean and welcoming with a massive christmas tree in the front lobby. We had an internet connection... more

I stayed at the Dolphin last week for a conference. I guess I was expecting more out of the hotel. The rooms are clean and decent but I think the entire hotel could use a remodeling. It looked dated to me. The staff was very nice, no complaints there. The pools look nice but in the bigger pool - the... more

We just stayed at the Dolphin for 2 nights to catch the end of Epcot’s food and wine festival. We stayed at the Swan back in 2005 and were happy with the resort. I will break down the good and bad points. Good points: Beds are super comfortable, after a day of walking around the parks a nice comfortable bed... more

The Dolphin and Swan are clearly more business traveler-oriented than the other on-site Disney resorts. That said, these properties occupy a "neither/nor" status. As a person who travels frequently on business, they're not what I would consider a serious business class hotel, but at the same time, as a family man who has been to Disney World 6 times in... more

Booked two nights at the Dolphin, I was expecting the worst, due to all the bad reviews. My decision to stay there was because it was conveniently located near Epcot, and we had the options of walking or taking the water taxi. We arrived early on the 6th, and we asked if we could check in early, and our room... more

We've stayed in many hotels in Florida in the 5 times we've visited from England but this place is barely average. We paid $400 per night and yes,the Epcot view is great but this is very expensive for a firework show when the rest of the package is so poor. $10 'resort fee' for items we didn't want is unacceptable... more

When we arrived for check-in we were advised that there was a separate charge to park. There is not a charge at other disney resorts. Then we were advised that there was a $10.00 +tax charge per day for a resort package fee. That included 2 bottles of water, internet access and phone calls. We were not advised of either... more

Although the front desk staff was very helpful and friendly and beds were comfortable, I will not go back to the Dolphin hotel. For the cost of the reservation, I was expecting a much nicer facility. From the moment that we stepped into the hotel, I was disappointed by the tired appearance of the Dolphin. The hotel is worn out... more

I remember when the hotel was built about 15 years ago. It was high profile, very cool. Nothing's been done with my room since it opened - it was very tired. I had a business colleague who asked to be moved and got in one of their refurbished rooms. He said the newer room was much nicer, so I'd suggest... more
