THE STAFF WAS VERY UNFRIENDLY. Room was supposed to be available at 3 p.m. but we could not get into ours until 5 p.m. AND it was not the room we reserved because our room supposedly had an odor that the previous traveler left behind from cooking something in the kitchenette! We just had a great time in chicago. We have been there several times and never stayed downtown. It was great. We got the blue man group package. Great room - plenty of space, clean & comfy. Hotel staff was very friendly. Good location. Only drawback was the fire station across the street - a little noisy. Would definitely stay here again. more

We visited the hotel on 14th Aug - 18th Aug 2008. We were in room 1206 and we can honestly say that it was a nice hotel. We didn't hear any noise from a fire station which was close by. We live in paradise (Hawaii) but decided to get married on 8/8/08 in the Windy City. However, it wasn't windy; we were told the we just missed a huge tunder storm the week before. I agree with many of the other posters. The hotel is very nice, and the staff tries to be very accommodating, but one feature over which they have no control is the noise--not only from the fire station right across the street, but the general street noise. The latter may be a problem in many Chicago hotels that are adjacent... more
