Just returned from a girls weekend at the San Juan Water and Beach Club 8/8/08-8/12/08. We had the best experience ever!!! The hotel itself is very chic and modern. Think Miami SoBe art deco. The size makes it more intimate since it is not a big chain hotel. Everyone there knew you by name and used it regularly along with... more

Me and my wife stayed at the Water & Beach club between August 6th and 10th. -It has a very classy look to it. You feel it as soon as you enter through the main door. -The front desk staff was very helpful. Even though the regular check -in time was 3pm Lleyda gave us a room around 12:30pm. -The... more

My husband and I stayed here from the 6th of August to the 9th, for our one year wedding anniversary. From the time we arrived from the airport until we left they were all pleasant. Kevin was the most pleasant of them all any questions we may have had he answered anything we needed he got, an all around nice... more

When planning my trip to P.R. I used tripadvisor to find a hotel that I liked and booked it through Priceline. When I read through the reviews and saw the pics of the Water and Beach Club I thought it looked really cool. I don't have a ton of money so it looked like a trendy fun place to stay... more

Please don't be influenced by the bad reviews left about the Waterclub Hotel. My best friend and I stayed at the hotel for 4 days and had a wonder stay. Is the the hotel The Four Seasons or Ritz-Carlton? No..., but this is a nice, well kept luxury boutique hotel with all the amenities and impeccable customer service you would... more

The kind of boutique hotel where the general manager, Bob, knows all of his guests and makes sure your stay is 5 star. The staff goes to great lengths to make you feel at home and part of the family (Jada, William, Verna, Jerry). The rooftop lounge is super comfy and drinks are done right (try to mojito) and I... more

My boyfriend and I just got back from P.R. and loved the Water Club. From the moment we got out of the cab to the final hours spent at the hotel before heading back to New York, everyone was friendly, courteous, helpful, cleaning and always smiling. The first room assigned to us (406) was fine except for the barking dog... more

Stayed 7/17-20 2008. Booked 2 rooms through Priceline and was upgraded to an oceanfront w/ balcony and oceanfront no balcony. Traveling with my wife and I were our 16 and 20 year old daughters. We all loved it and hated to check out. Spent next 4 nites at Rio Mar and wish we could have reversed. Good things: 1. Friendliest... more

I had an amazing time. It seems like the negative reviews come from trivial things like the blue light. Well the blue light is super hip and the rooms DO have regular lighting. About the loud noise... the hotel hosts events, not on an everyday basis. That was one of the reasons why we liked it so much. The hotel... more
