Not Impressed. Took a day "sail" on White Squall II to Virgin Gorda and Cooper Island on 7/23/08. We had originally booked the sail for Monday 7/21 only to find out (after we arrived at the dock) that our trip was cancelled due to lack of enough passengers. We were told to report back on Wednesday 7/23. Tuesday night , at 10:30 pm we received a call that our trip was a "go" for Wednesday (oh, really? nobody ever bothered to tell us that the trip had the potential to be cancelled...again). Anyway, we showed up at the dock on Wednesday morning and left for our day of "sailing". In fact, we never "sailed” anywhere, we motored out to VG, then over to Cooper, then back to Road Town (smelling diesel fumes the whole way). We specifically booked the WS II because we had never sailed on a twin mast, and still haven't. It was also as if we were on a very tight schedule the whole day in that we had deadlines to meet at both stops (1 hour at the baths, 1 hour at Cooper). Our lunch consisted of chicken legs and hot dogs along with a frozen rice "thing" and salad. There were plenty of drinks but the assortment consisted of beer, soda and a punch drink that I think was HI-C mixed with rum. All in all, while not a complete bust, we were underwhelmed by the experience.
