I visited Grand Cayman on honeymoon with my wife in July 2008 having booked the first four days of our stay in the Turtle Nest Inn, trusting only the comments that we had found on www.tripadvisor.com.
You should believe us when we say that you would be foolish not to do the same.
Our stay was flawless from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Donna (Management) and Alain (Owner) greeted us personally on arrival and offered us an immediate tour of the Inn. It was clear from the outset that hygiene and tidiness are of the utmost importance, something that we took great pleasure in observing. Ample parking space was provided at the front of the Inn for our hire car which we arranged personally although Alain and Marleine offered to arrange this for us pre-arrival. Donna then showed us to our apartment, which on first sight was a pure delight in itself. We had booked a sea-view for the first three nights, with a switch to garden-view on our final night. The sea-view was simply breath-taking. Sunrise in the Caribbean is a sight to behold. (I must point out that the need for the room-switch was our own fault due to our last-minute booking and the Inn's popularity. The switch was made easy with no hassle, plus the garden view was very nice in itself). Both apartments were clean, spacious and fully furnished including DVD player, video, cable and stereo. The kitchen was great with a large fridge freezer supplied. The bathrooms were spotless and house-keeping were discrete and professional. Outside reflected the same care and attention as inside. The sundeck was clean, very well-kept and the pool was perfect. Obviously this was all beachside, a quick hop off the sundeck and you could enjoy the sand between your toes. All-in-all this was a perfect stay. You could come and go as you pleased, and had a key to let yourself in if you were back late to the hotel. No question or job was too much bother to the staff who were friendly and upbeat at all times. We were very sad to leave, but resolved to recommend it to friends and family and return ourselves one day. 10/10
