I visited Grand Cayman on honeymoon with my wife in July 2008 having booked the first four days of our stay in the Turtle Nest Inn, trusting only the comments that we had found on www.tripadvisor.com.

You should believe us when we say that you would be foolish not to do the same.

Our stay was flawless from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Donna (Management) and Alain (Owner) greeted us personally on arrival and offered us an immediate tour of the Inn. It was clear from the outset that hygiene and tidiness are of the utmost importance, something that we took great pleasure in observing. Ample parking space was provided at the front of the Inn for our hire car which we arranged personally although Alain and Marleine offered to arrange this for us pre-arrival. Donna then showed us to our apartment, which on first sight was a pure delight in itself. We had booked a sea-view for the first three nights, with a switch to garden-view on our final night. The sea-view was simply breath-taking. Sunrise in the Caribbean is a sight to behold. (I must point out that the need for the room-switch was our own fault due to our last-minute booking and the Inn's popularity. The switch was made easy with no hassle, plus the garden view was very nice in itself). Both apartments were clean, spacious and fully furnished including DVD player, video, cable and stereo. The kitchen was great with a large fridge freezer supplied. The bathrooms were spotless and house-keeping were discrete and professional. Outside reflected the same care and attention as inside. The sundeck was clean, very well-kept and the pool was perfect. Obviously this was all beachside, a quick hop off the sundeck and you could enjoy the sand between your toes. All-in-all this was a perfect stay. You could come and go as you pleased, and had a key to let yourself in if you were back late to the hotel. No question or job was too much bother to the staff who were friendly and upbeat at all times. We were very sad to leave, but resolved to recommend it to friends and family and return ourselves one day. 10/10

“Best Hotel EVER!!!”

This is the best hotel I've ever stayed at. The people that work there are so friendly especially Donna. She's so sweet and fun to talk to.

My husband and I went there for our honeymoon and it was amazing. We found them on this website and since they got so many great reviews we decided to give it a try and we have absolutely no regrets. We felt at home at Turtle Nest. Its clean, its right on the beach, great snorkeling, friendly people, private, and affordable. If you go, attend one of their terrace dinners. Its a bit pricey but its good and its a great way to meet the guest.

My husband and I fell in love with Grand Cayman and with Turtle Nest Inn. We most definitely want to come back here. I strongly recommend this place. You will absolutely love it!

Fantastic location right on the beach in a very quiet part of the island. Close enough to get to 7 mile beach easily, but far enough to be away from the crowds.

Great rooms, full kitchen came in handy. Rental car included in our package was perfect for getting around the island and seeing all of the sites. Extremely friendly staff made the stay even better.

Cannot recommend the Turtle Nest Inn enough if you are heading to Grand Cayman!

My wife and I stayed here for the 1st week of our honeymoon, and couldn't have been happier. The staff was very attentive and helpful, and we truly enjoyed our time at the inn. We loved the kitchen and ability to cook our own breakfasts. We soaked up the pool and also snorkelled quite a bit - both off the inn's beach and on the 7 mile side. No complaints on either front, lots to see. Dinners out were great, best restaurant on the island is Calypso - 35 min from the inn - dissapointed by the Lighthouse value, food was better elsewhere for the price. Rum point beach is very nice and worth a visit. We'd return to Turtle Nest in a heartbeat if/when we return to the Caymans. So many islands, so little time...

Never in my entire life have enjoyed such a place, the accomadations from the staff to our extremely clean rooms were exceptional.
We loved the quiet family atmosphere, people were there to answer questions, but they also allowed you too just enjoy the peace and quiet. Our rooms were kept spotless, and the beach was very clean. We couldn't believe how they paid such attention to every little detail in our room from the kitchen to outside terace with chairs. Someone deserves a lot of credit for the way this place is kept up. It is no small feat to keep things so clean and well repaired off the ocean. You know how some motels charge you for all the extras, this place doesn't. You know before you get there what everything is going to cost, there are no hidden charges and they offer a lot of things as part of your stay. From Kayaks, to snorkles. Only disapointment I had it wasn't long enough, and they do a dinner that I missed. Maybe next time.
It is a little rocky right in front beach, but there had been a storm a few days before we had gotten there, but they had worked very hard to get things in good shape fast. I can't wait to return. There is so much to see on the island and the people are very friendly. Didn't get to meet the owners, as they were traveling, but the staff and Donna were awesome. If your looking to go on your honeymoon or a family getaway you won't be sorry.
Just pack your bags, they will take care of the rest.
