“GREAT ZIP LINE TOUR!!!”

This was a great tour. I was very worried that I would be too scared to go, but after the first one I had a blast. The stairs to get to the first line were harder than any of the zip lines. If you can make it up the first set of stairs, then you will love this tour. The guides were all very friendly and fun.

We went around the first of July and it was very hot. You are not allowed to bring anything but a camera with you. They do provide water at many of the lines.

Just like any other tour then want to sell you the picture ($10) and video ($40 I think). The guy taking the video rode with my husband on one of the lines, so we wanted to see the video.

One of the reasons we booked this your was because of the swimming after and the tour of the tequila factory. But neither of those happened. We went during rainy season and the river was too muddy to swim in. They told us this after we got there. It was still worth the trip, I just wish I didn't carry towels and bathing suits.

On their web page they talk about the tequila factory. The way I read this was it was part of the tour. When I asked about it on the ride to the lines, I was told that was a separate tour. I was a little disappointed in this. I wanted to see how it was made and maybe try a few samples.

After this tour, I know I would go again!

“Fun but plan LOTS of time”

1st of all - we enjoyed the activity. My wife was scared at first and it was hard on her, but about 1/2 way through it, she started to love it. You DEFINITELY need to be in moderate shape, at the least, in order to enjoy this activity. There is a lot of climbing at the beginning. Once you get past the first 1/3 though, it gets much easier and the scenery is fantastic.

The trip there and back was horrible. We caught a shuttle from Nueva Vallarta. We left our hotel at 8:30 and did not get back until 4:30. When they tell you how long things take in Mexico, you can easily double it. The ride there was on a small bus, the AC was broken and the roads were terrible. The trip back took 2 hours as the traffic in Puerto Vallarta was gridlocked. Mario, the driver, was fantastic, informative and funny.

The staff was excellent. They made you feel safe and were very funny. It may be an act but they seem to really enjoy their jobs and they work very hard.

The swimming at the end is a fraud. During the rainy season, the water is too fast and filthy. They say it is nice during the rest of the year.

Overall, I'm glad we did this, but I would NEVER do it again because of the time and difficulty in getting there and back. They need to have a boat that takes you across the bay instead of going through Puerto Vallarta.

“Amazing Experience”

The staff was excellent, funny, yet informative. This adventure was amazing, my 11 year old cousin also did it with no problems! The restaurant food was also top notch! Wear comfy clothes and bring a camera for the scenic drive up the mountain. Bring plenty of money and/or credit card. The video is $40. Unfortunately, we had the wrong video the first time, and when we got the new one, there was a problem on in. This is a must do!

Tips: go earlier in the day (gets hot); bring tons of money to spend; wear bug repellent; enjoy!

Thanks for all you did Jorge!

“Great Experience”

Canopy Tours de Los Veranos

Family of 6 participated. We will treasure the memory of this adventure for years to come! First time we ever zip lined. staff comical, professional, accomodating. encouraging to those that needed a little extra help and never made them feel foolish. My family did fine and we have some awesome pictures.
Booked online to save the 15% and no problemo using reciept sent via e-mail. Transported everyone back to the hotel without an extra charge. Go for it. you;ll be glad you did. Lot of walking, it will be hot. Take your time and don't hurry. They offer you water between some of the zips.
Photo ops with some exotic animals when the tour is done.
Put your sunscreen and mosquito repellent on before going.
Meal was a little costly. tasted ok, but wish we would have saved the money to spend on something else.

Just like the other reviews, I can't imagine a better canopy tour than Los Veranos. The guides definitely made the tour better. They had funny jokes and made you feel totally comfortable. My only regret was not bringing a camera. We didn't want to buy their pictures or dvd, so we don't have any pictures to remember the experience. If you bring a camera, I'd just make sure that you have a pocket with zippers. I'd be worried so high up with my digital camera in my pocket. After the tour you can go in the monkey cages and feed them (free!). The only thing that we didn't like about the tour is after you zipline, you can eat at the restaurant or swim. We booked the 9:00 tour so that we still had the day ahead of us at our resort, but when the tour was over at 11:00 we were ready to go only to find out that the shuttle doesn't leave until 12:20. Which wasn't bad, but we were disappointed that we couldn't leave.

Hint: bring $ for tips. You'll find out that everywhere in Mexico asks for tips.
If you get picked up on the shuttle from Le Kliff, make sure to call the day ahead. We didn't and the shuttle passed us. We had to catch a bus back to our resort and our concierge called the tour. They were great and paid for a taxi to take us there. We were just intime and didn't miss our 9:00 tour since it takes time to get you ready. We didn't start the tour until 10:00.
