This place was a huge highlight of our trip! We were staying in Cancun and took the 2 hour collectivo ride out there but it was definately worth it.

If you are able to by the package online, you'll get a bit of a discount. We were debating between the Ultimate Adventure Package and just that Snorkel package. We ended up picking the ultimate adventure and we're so glad we did. When we were looking at the website, the skycycle looks kind of dumb but actually doing it, cycling through the jungle and caves were so much fun. And the snorkeling (highlight) was something that we will always remember and something that we will never get to do back home.

If you get hungry, there is a small restaurant facility on site that offers moderately priced food. You are also able to purchase a CD of pictures taken of you and your group while in the park for $12.50 US per person (i.e. if you're in a group of 2, it would be $25 for the CD). It was great because we got photos of us ziplining and cycling that we otherwise wouldn't have gotten.

The only 'downside' to the place was that I found the guides' English discription of the caves while snorkeling to be a little lacking and brief compared to the Spanish counterpart. This was because they were obviously not as fluent in English as Spanish, not because they didn't want to provide a good experience to English-speakers. But this didn't really deter us because we felt we were in their country and were glad for even a little bit of English in a Spanish speaking country.

We HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone in the Mayan Riveria!

What a day! This was the best day of our Mexico week long vacation in August 2008. The park has a capacity of only 150 guests, but on the day we were there there were only 33. We were able to do almost all the activities twice, and YES! They were just as fun the second time!

Yes, do take your camera on the sky cycles...it won't get wet.

The staff are amazing! They treat each set of guests like they are the only ones there...like gold! We had lunch in the restaurant and it was absolutely delicious and authenic Mexican food (and no "side" effects afterwards)

The "Paparazzi" is a great photographer and all your pics that he takes and over 100 he's taken of the local fawna, fish, & animals is only $25 US. Well worth every penny!

We opened the park and they literally had to kick us out at the end of the day...we would have stayed and done everything a third time!

On-line there is a discount on the admission price....buy it before you leave home (or you'll have to rent internet at your hotel twice as the voucher takes 24+hours to come through)

This attraction wouldn't be exciting for people who regularly skydive or mountain climb, but everyone else (without back problems) would love it. We are 45 and we hooked up with an early 20 something couple and all four of us had a fabulous time! The sky cycle is mildly aerobic but if you're not fit, take your time and you'll be fine.

Engine and automotive affectionados will delight in the transport trucks!

If you have a snorkle take it with you; the one I got there leaked a wee bit.

Yes! Scream with delight!

We can't say enough about the attraction or the staff..."Skinny Man" is a hoot!

Apparently December is a busy month

Go early, stay late! Have fun! We thought we would only stay 3-4 hours, but stayed 8 and would have stayed longer if they were still open.

My husband and I took our 5 and 9 year kids here and it was worth every penny. It is hard to do really adventurous stuff with little ones so Hidden Worlds was a good call on our part. The staff was very reassuring and kind to us about everything that we did and the kids participated in everything. My son didn't fare well on the Sky cycle but they quickly got him down and walked him through the jungle to meet me and he was cool with that. It was just too hard for a light 5 year old. The kids loved everything especially the zipline into the cenote (my 5 year old said it was the best thing he had ever done in his life and he has done alot of cool stuff), the bouncy truck rides through the jungle, the snake chasing the gecko while we ate an amazing pollo poblano meal at the palapa and seeing themselves on the great pictures we bought afterwords. Definitely book online for the discount. Can't beat Hidden Worlds! Thanks Skinnyman!

“A must do!!!!!!”

Put Hidden Worlds on your "MUST DO LIST"!! This was an awesome diversion from the beaches etc. My daughter (age 19) and I (age 45) went to Hidden Worlds in the middle of August 2008 and had a wonderful time. All the activities were really fun and not hard to do. It was the best day trip we took while in Mexico. I booked online prior to going, price was cheaper in advance and did not have to choose a specific date. I simply printed the tickets at home and took them with me. You can save $ by taking a Collectivo (local bus) to Tulum. It was only 30 pesos one way (about $3.00) to go 50-60 miles, vs. $50-60 for a taxi (one way) and very, very safe. (Hidden Worlds is very close to Xel-Ha)

When you get there, Skinny Man (his nickname) greets you and makes you feel very welcome. He's funny, nice and informative---just a cool, great guy. The staff was wonderful as well, all very helpful and humorous. There is a little restaurant where Adriana cooks a delicious local special of the day and a gift shop where you can purchase gifts---both had very reasonable prices.

The cenotes were incredible and the clear water was very refreshing. Sky Cycle was easy to peddle and the zip lines were really fun. With the Ultimate package, you may spend a few hours or all day.

Bring eco-friendly bugspray (or buy some there for $6), water, $ for food, gifts, photo CD ($25), and tips. Photo CD was worth the $ so you don't have to mess with a camera.

"Dr" Skinny Man if you are reading this--hello from Anita (the bee girl) and Clarita. Hasta la vista ; )

I ziplined backwards into the cenote! Can you say that??

This trip was awesome- a highlight of my week-long trip. A great adventure. The staff was the best I've ever been around -ever. I wish I could thank them another way than posting here, they were so great.

Definitely be ready for down and dirty adventure- it's more fun that way!
