We had a two night stay in Vancouver at the end of our 3 week trip across western Canada. The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is in central downtown Vancouver on Burrard Street which makes everything so accessible. It is an easy 5 mnute walk to Robson Street and a 10-15 min walk to Canada Place and the Sea Wall walk- which takes you into Stanley Park. It is an attractive buiding from the outside, one of the nicest with landscape gardens. We stayed in the North Tower which I think is the newest part. The lobby is much more spacious and there seems a lot more in the way of amenites in this tower. The staff were incredibly helpful, even after we had got home and we had been charged twice for the valet parking. I have to say they were very good in sorting this out quickly.
The room itself was a spacious king room, not as spacious as we thought but a decent size. The bed was very comfortable. The hospitality tray was topped up each day with Starbucks coffee. The bathroom was a good size with a very good shower. The highlight of the room for me was the floor to ceiling windows we had a great city view and at night, with all the lights it was stunning.
We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, we thought it a bit pricy however we did eat out at the Indigo Bistro one night located in the South Tower. The food was very good and not as pricy as some of the places we had eaten at on our trip. The staff at the Bistro were very good and were always making sure you were OK.
All in all a good stay. We will be back to Vancouver because two nights is certainly not enough and we would probably stay at the Sheraton Wall.
