This is the third Sheraton I have stayed in in the past two months and it really didn't let me down. Unfortunately we got off to a bad start. The young girl on reception told us there wasn't any king size beds left. Before we got a chance to ask anything the other receptionist came over and said no there were no king size, only two doubles. I tried to explain we had specifically asked for king size in our booking but she said our type of bookings are given whatever is available. I thought she might have suggested waiting to see if a king size room would become available later in the day (or even apologised!) but no. We were allocated a room in the North Tower to which she just waved her hand in the general direction and did not explain where to go. Thankfully a very nice porter came over and explained everything even explaining the difference between the north and south towers. (North is newer but a little walk over) After that everything was wonderful. The room was really lovely! New feel about it and spotlessly clean! Floor to ceiling windows, starbucks coffee maker, plasma tv, dressing gown, newspaper in the morning. The bathroom even nicer! Shower gel, loofah etc The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to Robson St, the main shopping area. You can check in with Air Canada in the lobby which is very handy. Internet access is in the South Tower. Theres a little Starbucks down the stairs in the lobby. We enquired about the Airport Bus and it leaves every half hour, but it's just as cheap and quicker to take a taxi to the airport. I would definitely return here!
