When several good things come together as one, that could be synergy. But when everything comes together perfectly and with style and grace, that's Abbeymoore Manor. From the wonderful charm and warmth of Ann and Ian (not to mention Ian's gregarious wit and helpfulness), to the beauty of the restoration, the perfect condition of all the facilities, the never empty fresh fruit and chocolate basket , always available (reasonably so) delicious hot coffee, tea and cocoa, truly high speed internet both direct and wireless (and you don't have to cough up extra for it either), daily room service and a different epicurean breakfast every day . . . .wow!

It's too bad that 5 blips is the highest award possible, because Abbeymoore with Ann and Ian deserve at least 10.

Each room has it's own distinct charm, but all are wonderful. When visiting Victoria, you cannot do better at any price. But that's just the opinion of two diehard, cynical and hard to please New Yorkers. We will certainly stay there again.

The innkeepers, Anne and Ian, were just wonderful!!! We came here for our honeymoon and they were there to greet us even though our plane arrived late in the evening. In our room was a lovely bouquet of lilies. Now every time I smell lilies I will remember our honeymoon and the lovely time it was to stay here. The breakfast was the best I have EVER had anywhere. The people they have to help serve breakfast were very pleasant and always made sure you had everything to your likely. It was great when Ian served as he was always making jokes, telling a funny story or giving great advice on what to do for the afternoon. Your room is cleaned everyday and there is complimentary water, pop and homemade cookies in the dining area. Not to mention you can eat inside or on their beautiful veranda if you chose. It is a walking distant to downtown which was wonderful as there is alot to see downtown Victoria, including the BC museum, the harbor, the Parliament Building, the wax museum, Craigdarroch Castle and much ,much more!! When we were checking out our cab never came to get us, Ian offered to give us a ride right away. I know we will never find a place like this one and once you stay here you will never want to leave!!

What a wonderful place this is. The rooms are beautiful. The location is superb. The food is delicious and the innkeepers are a model of hospitality. We spent 2 wonderful nights with Ian and Anne in their beautiful Abbeymoore Manor. Ian and Anne know everything about the area and can recommend wonderful restaurants and things to do. We ate the best Asian food I have ever eaten and had high tea at the Empress Hotel. We walked to the castle and downtown. We spent one whole afternoon at the BC Museum and took an open air, hop on and off bus for a tour of the city. We hopped off at Fisherman's Wharf for fish and chips. Abbeymoore Manor is a wonderful example of what a B and B should be and I hope we can return soon.

We stayed at the Abbeymore Bed and Breakfast for our honeymoon. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was so cozy that we wished we could have stayed much longer. The atmosphere was very warm and inviting. The service was exceptional. Also, the breakfast was one of the tastiest I have had in a long time. Thank you Abbeymore! Rick and Naz
