Located in a nice area of Toronto but you really need your own transportation. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were of decent size but were old. It even smelled old. The provision of plastic cups in the rooms were a let down considering this is a Westin hotel.

The Japanese restaurant in the hotel is suppose to be one of the best in Toronto, but it was below average, especially the cooked dishes. The sushi/sashimi were average.

We spent a single night at the Westin Prince hotel, and were very happy with it. Check-in was fast, staff were friendly, and the room was very clean with great decor (white and taupe linens).

The bathroom was small but extremely clean. It's designed in ceramic tile floors and bath tub. The shower was amazing with the "Westin Heavenly Bath" double shower head and bowed curtain rod.

We found check-out to be a breeze, by using the in-room tv menu system.

Just a quick tip for travellers - parking is extra so be prepared. We paid $11/day, which is fairly reasonable, given Toronto parking prices.

I was one of the people that read a bad review of this property and thought, "how bad can it be?" Well I will tell you. The price was attractive compared to other hotels in the city of Toronto. Driving up to the hotel, it appeared that this hotel was very old and run down. Going into it confirmed it. My first impression was that the rugs in the lobby were very dirty. We checked in and went to our room. The room smelled musty and was dark and dingy. This hotel is not a Westin, do not be fooled. The carpets were poor quality and the windows have not been cleaned in a long time. As I was leaving, I was asked how we liked the stay at this hotel. I told the person I spoke with that I did not like it. He looked at me with a perplexed expression. He then asked what I did not like and I started with the entrance way the rooms etc. He told me he does not usually look at carpets. Apparently he does not look at his spagetti sauce stained shirt either. Wow, I will never go back to this hotel. If you do go after reading this review don't say I didn't tell you so.

How very sad to see what has happened to this hotel. Lack of Service, no smiles, next time I will go back to the Westin Harbour Hotel.
