The hotel is very comfortable and clean. The rooms are a good size with a large washroom and clothing closet. There is a hair dryer and a iron/board in the room. Each room also has a coffee pot and replenished coffee/tea. We actually really liked the hotel because we didn't need to ask for anything.
We did not however find the staff helpful as my husband asked if he could use the microwave and was told by a male staff at the front desk
that they didn't have a working microwave (?!?!). We had also been promised a microwave and fridge in our room when we booked. However when we checked in they weren't in the room and were out of each. Should they get one for us we were going to be charged $10 each.
The breakfast was adequate but not very good. I would suggest they leave hard boiled eggs in the shell so they could stay warmer, cover the bread and stop using stale croissants. The juice and cereals are good.
Can't beat this hotel for area as it's across the street from the Bloor/Sherbourne subway line and the Sherbourne bus runs right in front of the hotel.
We'd stay here again but get breakfast elsewhere.
