This museum is one of the best planned museums that I have ever visited. Staff are friendly and you can't beat the free admission for the permanent collection. Collections are well spaced out in appropriate themes and I couldn't help but be impressed by the lighting and staging of the artwork. Truly a wonderful collection ranging from Ancient artifacts to Picasso. You will be truly missing a gem if you don't visit this museum.

The MOFA in Montreal is located in a great neighborhood near thr Ritz.
It had a very sophisticated and eclectic art collection. I found the Walt Disney exposition (admission very resonably priced) especially great. Their collection of artifacts and crafts form ancient cultures is also a great asset. The cafe has decent food but alittle pricey. Overall, definitely worth a visit.

I saw the Picasso Erotic exposition in 2001. It’s a really beautifull museum, located downtown on Sherbrooke St. I was impressed with the Museum collection (Free Admission!), especially by their Jeanpaul Riopel pieces (a local artist). iLuvMtl!
