I booked two rooms and was delighted with everything about this hotel. The entire place was spotless and staff were extremely helpful. It is about 3 miles from the centre of Plymouth which by bus is £2.25 or by taxi £7.50 so as long as you do not mind travelling into Plymouth this is an excellent choice. Located approximately 1 mile from the airport.

As my wife and myself were staying on a leisure break for 3 nights, we treated ourselves and booked a suite for £112 per night including breakfast. Everything about the accomodation was perfect. The bed was massive and comfortable and the room large enough to still have room to move easily. The bathroom was spotless and just like new (as was everything else). The lounge had a second TV, fridge, table & 2 chairs, sofa, armchair, coffee table & dressing table.
The bedroom & lounge each had their own aircon.
Both TVs had a keyboard for using to surf the net.
This worked, but there were several limitations due to not actually having true PC functionality.
Now the bad news. As mentioned by other reviewers, the food and service in the restaurant both vary from excellent to poor.
On one night we had very average food with faultless service and another night a good starter and main course. We gave up waiting for the dessert, paid the bill and left.

The accommodation is hard to fault. Decent sized rooms, clean and well equipped. Lovely comfortable beds, nice and quiet. Reception staff are friendly and helpful.

But this hotel is let down by the restaurant. The menu is quite interesting and food generally to a good standard. But the service is so slow - sometimes the waiting staff seem more interested in chatting amongst themselves than serving their customers. I stayed there for several weeks and more than once was served starters that weren't hot enough, and on one rather shocking occasion was presented with a chicken main course that was hardly cooked at all! A mixup in the kitchen apparently - fortunately I checked before I had taken a bite.

I have stayed here a couple of times and would use it again. Rooms are clean bright and very comfortable.

Some internet available in the room TV but free WiFi in reception where there are several sofas to relax in.

Breakfast is average but with few healthy options ie low fat yoghurts or skimmed milk.
