The Quality on the quays in Dublin City is a real gem. I think they have managed to combine friendly down-to-earth service with stylish comfortable accomodation. In short, you get all the trimmings you expect from a modern hotel - but they go that extra mile - the staff make the difference, and this sets it apart from the stuffy over-priced institutions that cram the city. From help with reservations to warm welcome and everything until check-out, we were really looked after.
If you are coming to experience Dublin - this is a great location. The redeveloped docklands make for an easy refreshing stroll into town, or if you're lazy like me, as far as the Ferryman pub for pints and music, or to Hanover Quay around the corner for restaurants, swish wine bars etc.
Dont let the building works nearby put you off, this is a growing city and the rooms seem to be sound proof. I certainly dont mind seeing a few builders outside my window from time to time : ) The benefits of staying here far outweigh this minor eyesore. In fact it adds to the urban cool of the place. Better than a touristy shopping street with overpriced shamrock souvenirs!
