Positive things first; great location and the staff spoke perfect English if you have no experience with the language. The front desk was open 24/7 Our room was very quiet.

Things I did not like: Our room was one of 3 on the 4rth floor with a window that looked at three walls and a shaft type space. There was a constant odor which I could never quite figure out what it was. The odor was not in the hall way. The bed was as hard as a rock. I realize "European bedding" may be different, but this caused very restless nights and back aches (he has NEVER had) for my husband. The breakfast was unusual in that the coffe was served from a bunson burner...in France? It was very weak. I would have liked to had the local coffee in a French Hotel. The room was furnished as stated, but the bath tub did not drain well so there was standing water, the jets in the tub did not work, there were no places to hang a wet towel--absolutely none, and the light bulbs in the bathroom were suspended from the ceiling by thier wires--they just hung there by the wire!

Overall I would look at another choice of hotels or spend a bit a more when visiting Paris.

This is a smashing hotel! Room 102 was cosy and neat, warm on a chilly evening but with huge french windows to let in the breeze when the sun came out. The bed was comfy, the bathroom spotless and the decor very French. Breakfast was adequate, the staff were pleasant and having 24/7 reception is a good thing. All this pales into insignificance next to the location. FABULOUS! Ten minutes stroll to the Louvre, not much more to Isl de France and about 15 to Notre Dame. Metro station five mintues away, and the best - seriously the best boulangerie in Paris at the end of the road.
The lift is just silly, but who spends time in a lift??

very good hotel indeed! this is the 4th time i'm in paris!i stayed there for 3 nites with parents in a triple room and i got the room with stone wall n timber roof on the third floor which shown on the web page and it is absolutely a good hotel. THe room i can see is supposed to be a twin room and they have a trolley bed for me. the bad things is the corridor ouside the room is v small n lift also.( but that is normal for a europe continential style)Altho i stay in the serparate block but they have good sercurity for it during mid nite.
the room is facing the street n is not very noisy also.
bath room abit old. but good power for the shower!

the lobbies have nice deco and it is surely in 3 stars standard. i appreciate all of this becuz i paid a resonable price for it which is 419 euro for 3 nites without breakfast for 3 people.

excellent location with loads of nice popular restaurant behind. which is in good price which many locals went.
i think is one of the most busiest area for locals..( high street with loads of shops n super markets near hotel.
close to the louvre n easy walking to few attractions.
main metro station in 6 mins walk.. chatlets, louvre rivoli, pont neuf.

so far 3 staffs i've met there who r really kind n useful. altho the taxi i've booked with the hotel with late arrival n i nearly missed the plane to london. and is a bit pricey.

with this price n location and the lovely room.
but this hotel!! me n my parents juz love it.. will back for sure!

My boyfriend booked this hotel, so when I looked at some of the reviews I was worried. But I should have had more faith in the man ... Not boutique standards by any means, but comfortable and fully adequate. The location is excellent, about 5 minutes walk to The Louvre and the river. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast simple, but fresh and tasty and the cute little bar perfect for a night cap. I would definitely recommend this hotel to first time visitors - it's just so central. I would definitely go back ...
