My husband and I are in our late 20's and recently travelled around Spain. We thought this was an excellent hotel. The rooms were very clean and we thought they were quite spacious compared to other hotel rooms in other cities we had recently visited. It was hard to find inexpensive rooms in Barcelona, but we thought this was a fair price for the room. Our room was bright and open and had a nice balcony overlooking the street. There were computers with free internet, which was really nice. The pool and sundeck were also great additions. In the halls, they had refrigerators full of bottled water for guests, which I had never seen in Europe. The neighborhood in which this hotel is located, is excellent and we spent most evenings walking around and eating at nearby tapas bars. If you are looking for something quaint and charming, you might not be impressed with this hotel, but if you need a nice clean room in a great area, this is a great choice. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

great position in the gothic quarter. 2 mins from the picasso museum. Bars and restaurants within strolling distance. 5 mins from the train station. Clean hotel and very friendly staff. Restaurant was closed on evening in hotel as they were refurbishing.,however they were still doing breakfast which was good. Top tip if you are a brit take your travel kettle! as tea was horrid. But thats a minor gripe. Definately worth staying at

We stayed in this hotel for 5nights for the first week in June. The location is very good, in the gothic quarter of Barcelona. Lovely restuarants near by, train station/zoo/La Ramblas all within a 5minute walking distance.
The rooms were nice, very clean, small pool on the roof was nice, no bar which was a pity, breakfast was very good, hotel staff could have been more friendly - its extremely well located at a reasonable price - we just loved Barcelona!!

I've stayed in much higher rated but this was without exception the best stay I have ever had anywhere.

The rooms are not huge but funky and especially clean. We stayed on the second floor not over looking the street and it was as quiet as could be.

The 2 best things about this place are the pool and the gallons of free minerakl water. I've styed in places where neither of these would be considered a luxury but in a big city like Barcelona they were a godsend.

The good lady and me went for our anniversary in September 07 and quickly found the pool after after arriving in mid afternoon. We had an excellent lunch at the restaurant and headed to the terrace to find it moderately busy.

The full day of sightseeing on our 2nd day was become difficult in the heat so we headed back to the hotel at around 12 lunchtime. We'd decided to spend the afternoon lounging around the pool if it was'nt too busy so we made our way up there armed with gallons of the free mineral water. The fact that we found the terrace empty and were left undisturbed for 5 hours will remain as the best afternoon of my life. We'd left the kids with grandparents and this time was bliss.

The fact that you could chill out to this level yet still be in the middle of a bustling city is one heck of an achievement.

the location is superb, the rooms excellent, restaurant top drawer, the pool beyond description and the net access a welcome addition. Could not reccomend highly enough, just don't force the prices up!
