Excelent Old house with new interior design. Rooms and bathrooms very large! good breackfast . The distric is for to dream. embassys district, very close to castle. Internet free in lobbie.

We couldn't have been happier with Constans Hotel. Being located so centrally in the old town, in a nice quiet street, it was great to stroll out of the hotel to great restaurants, the castle, and other fantastic sights so close by. Our room at Constans was huge, with a big bathroom (shower & bath), which were very clean & well presented. The bath & shower products supplied by the hotel were very nice also. The staff were friendly and more than happy to help with anything we wanted to know about Prague. The breakfast was lovely. We will definitely be returning to Prague, and would only stay at Constans Hotel, which contributed to making our time in Prague so very special.

Stayed in the Constans for a couple of nights on a business trip to Prague. It is well situated, reasonably close to the castle and within easy walking distance of the Charles Bridge and all the tourist sights.

My room was in the newer part of the hotel and lacked the character of rooms in the original building. It was quite well furnished, with heavy, Austro-Hungarian Empire style fittings and a large balcony overlooking an internal courtyard. It was very quiet, but rather warm. The bathroom was massive, with both a bath and a separate shower. There was also a bidet and a very large heated towel rail.

The reception area was limited, consisting of a bar area; this was very dark and not particularly comfortable. Breakfast was poor to average.

I can’t really recommend the Constans with much enthusiasm. It was inoffensive but lacked personality. It was perfectly fine for a business trip, but if you are in this beautiful city for a leisure break, look elsewhere.

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Constans in October for 3 nights, and really enjoyed our stay. We had a lovely, huge room with hardwood floors and a big bed (not two twins pushed together that you frequently see). The bathroom was modern and large. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we had during our 18-day trip through eastern Europe! They even packed a bag for me to take when we had to leave early for our flight, before breakfast was served. The hotel is located on the Mala Strana side, which we liked. It's a short walk up to the castle, and about a 15 minute walk over to the Old Town Square (but what a beautiful walk across the Charles Bridge!). The hotel is on a narrow, quiet cobblestone street in a safe area, near the Embassies. Make sure you have a map--it's a little hard to find. We found the rates to be a bit high on the hotel's website, but we got a great deal by booking through Expedia. Overall, we were very pleased with the hotel and would definitely recommend it.
