“turned out to be a great choice”

We wanted a great location in the Old Town with comfort and luxury, but not a big box 5 star. Looking thru travel books, we saw this and then checked on-line.
It is ideal. Located very close to the main square, but on a quieter street, around a courtyard with a dining room and good breakfast buffet. The first night they gave us a double up-grade to a two level suite under the rafters, with jacuzzi. It would be good for a family or two couples. I personally wanted to sleep on the same level as the bathroom , so the next night we "down-graded" to another suite, which was perfect. Service was excellent, amenities deluxe.
Suites have small dining area, and living room, though there is so much to do in Prague, we did not use them until the last night when we drank the complimentary bottle of wine they gave us. The candies on the bed were also delicious.

Friendly, outgoing staff. Great breakfast. Perfect location. Highly recommend.

Right around the corner from astronomical clock, old town square, etc.

Spent 2 nights at the fab Iron Gate Hotell, its postion is right in the centre of old town, but in a quiet spot. Room was lovely, everything that you could need was on hand, Staff very friendly and helpful. Third time been to Prague, best hotel so far.

“Beats the Four Seasons in Prague”

As part of a large group, we thoroughly enjoyed the Iron Gate. It was friendly, accommodating and clean. The rooms are all different with each their character, needless to say the comfort and space you get is incredible. Location is perfect. We decided to book the iron gate for a reunion, this couldn't have been a better place. Good value for money. Thumbs up!

This is a beautiful, small hotel in a great location. You can walk to many sites, restaurants and shops. The service is gracious and unobtrusive. The rooms are nicely decorated , yet comfortable. I strongly recommend it.
