Really enjoyed our long weekend here in May.
It's not a flash, sumptous hotel in the grand manner, more comfortable, smart and compact.
Our loft room was great with a view out to the clock tower, although I'd imagine the more conventional third floor rooms would be just as good, if not better. The only slight downside for us was a noisy aircon unit, which we compained about but which wasn't attended to (I did a temporay fix myself in the end!).
The front desk staff were always friendly and helpful (above excepted), and we were pleased we'd pre-arranged transport with the hotel to collect us from the airport - a nice air-conditioned Merc with the taxi driver giving us a history lesson en route for free!
The bar is rather lacking in atmosphere but that doesn't really matter as there are plenty of places nearby. The breakfast was very good, with a decent selection of hot and cold food.
I can't really imagine a better location in all of Prague - loads of cafes and restaurants nearby, right off one of the main squares, yet still quiet (unless you happen to stay the weekend of the Pargue marathon as we did, which went right past the hotel!). Although only a ten minute walk from Charles Bridge, the hotel itself felt nicely detached from the tourist hustle and bustle. All in all an ideal combination of quiet, comfortable hotel right in the middle of town.

My childhood friend and I stayed at the Hotel Ventana in Prague from May 8-18th during the Spring Music Festival. The hotel was a perfect oasis in the best setting in Prague. Just one block from the Old Town Square, it was close to everything, but still maintained a charm all its own. The rooms were spectacular, and large by almost any standard, with beautiful views of the Tyn cathedral. The bathrooms were immaculate, and had all the little extras that make a hotel stay special. The breakfast buffet was sumptuous, with a wonderful selection of fresh fruits, juices, granola, eggs and pastries. The one thing that we both continue to reminisce over is the wonderful hotel staff, that became like our own family. They helped us with arranging for a car rental to come to our hotel, along with directions, which were slightly tricky. Then when we had an early morning flight and expressed our disappointment over missing the wonderful breakfast, they packed each of us a breakfast to take on the plane. We both highly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic location just off the old town square. Small boutique 5 star hotel with exceptional service. Great breakfast included.

We stayed her for a week in May, and booket thure there web page and also had them pick us up at the airport and that was GREAT, the place is so nice and very very central the staff is great and we even had a drink in the hotell bar whic was very very cheep also is the mini bar. The breakfast is ok, it has all your need and alomost onone there,
There was one thing we diden't have AC in the eveing or at night for some reasen, we did compian the first night but there was a new person there so he couldent help, we also complaint the other night and then a mangare was there and he did something on the computer and we had AC at once so I supect they control the AC on there computer since it is a cental AC. Appart from that it is a great hotell and the rooms are BIG and it is very quiet there. I do recomend the drive serices where they pick you up at the airport it was 1/2 houre ride and you don¨'t need to hazel or anything.
