I have stayed at the General Hotel while I was visiting Prague. General Hotel is an exclusive hotel among its own types. It is very unique because every room has its characteristics and style. It is very clean and friendly hotel. Customer service is excellent: I felt like I was at home. Food is delicious, and it represents international cuisine. The location of the hotel is convenient because it is located in the center of Prague. Moreover, whoever has a car, he or she will not have parking problems because the hotel has its own parking places.

Hotel General is an extremely comfortable, well run small hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trrouble. The rooms are spotlessly clean and well laid out.
This was our first visit to Prague, so it was difficult to decide where to stay. We wanted to be near the centre, but not anywhere too noisy at night. This place was ideal. You can walk along the river towards Charles Bridge and into the Old Town area,or you can catch a tram a few minutes walk away to areas further afield. The area was very quiet an night. Our only suggestion for improvent would be the provision of tea/coffee making facilites- but this was only a small problem, we had taken a travel kettle just in case, and the hotel was happy to provide us with a small jug of milk from the bar! We would definitley recommend Hotel General and hope to go back soon.
By the way, if you haven't been yet., Prague is wonderfull!

We have just returned from a wonderful trip to Prague in order to celebrate my birthday. It was made even more special by the staff and management of the Hotel General. This recently opened boutique hotel in the Andel district is an absolute gem. It has a theme of Military Commanders throughout the world and ages. This, coupled with modern facilities and the most attentive and professional staff is bound to establish this hotel as a unique venue in this lovely city. Breakfast was varied (hot and cold choices) and beautifully presented . Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Indeed everything from the fluffy designer bathrobes to the 'in case you forgot anything' elegant toiletries exuded 'elan'. Our only criticism (and it was hard to find) was that the Hotel felt hot. Actually we found this to be the case with all buildings and restaurants in the city at this time of year. Anyway if you want to experience Prague in style go to this hotel where there is a real culture of putting the guest first. They certainly did with us.
