We stayed at this hotel recently and thoroughly enjoyed it. Much better than expected. The staff were very friendly and attentive.It was clean and the decor the best i have experienced. We would go again if visiting Prague.

This 4 day break had been a present from our daughter after a traumatic beginning to the year. It could not have been better chosen. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and great care had obviously been taken in its decor. The staff were excellent and all very attentive to our needs and pleasant. In fact the champagne we had for breakfast every day added to the pleasure of the weekend. Facilities for the diabled are provided. The staff at the hotel also took on board a comment from a previous guest as tea and coffee facilties were provided.
Thank you to everyone at the Hotel General we really enjoyed ourselves.

It is a small heaven in the middle of Prague. Design of the hotel is exclusive. Dishes are extraordinary and delicious. The restaurant’s menu includes dishes from various cuisines. Customer service is outstanding. All the working personnel know several languages. The hotel has a wine bar where I managed to find all types of and taste of wines made in different countries. I have traveled a lot in my life, and I have found only several hotels where I enjoyed my staying in. General Hotel is one of them.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the General, it was wonderful! Stan, the front desk clerk, was just the best. All we had to do was tell him where we wanted to go and he did the rest. He made sure we had tickets and arranged transportation. His english was great, so not much of a worry on the language barrier. He made sure we were up from naps to catch the symphony as well as made reservations at the best French Rest. in Prague. We hated to leave. We will be back in Prague hopefully next October and the General will be the spot!!!
The room was beautiful and the breakfast was perfect. The staff looked out for every detail. I have never seen a cleaner hotel. The wine and champagne was a treat. The entire staff were just outstanding. We just loved it.
