This is one of those hotels that "looks" great. It is all an illusion. This hotel is deplorable. The rooms were small. The staff was unfriendly, except for the concierge desk. The restaurants were overpriced with poor service and low quality food. The bars were overpriced and pretentious. The bistro bar has no clue how to pour a Guinness. The night management and desk crew were very curt and smug with us. The ATM machine in the lobby is a piece of junk, which malfunctioned and caused my checking account to be debited twice for one transaction. The hotel staff caused my credit card to be put on fraud alert because they tried making multiple charges under names other than Hyatt within minutes of each other at several hundred dollars a piece. They did this because our card was put on temporary hold due to inactivity and instead of contacting the credit card, they simply tried to make charges in varying amounts from different hotel vendors over and over, even after our card had finally been authorized - all of which raises concerns of ethics. Because of this we came home from a wedding, with the wedding party, after midnight and had been locked out of our rooms and embarrassed by the front desk, the manager and the sluggish security person who made us wait and wait and then show ID in the hallway before allowing us into our room. Several other members of the wedding party were disappointed in some way as well. The mother of the bride was given a smaller room than I had, which was the cheapest style of room available. This is without a doubt one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in and provided me with arguably the worst hotel experience's I've ever had.
