“Not Good!”

My family stayed at this hotel for 3 days. I booked this hotel more than two weekes age before my trip to make sure I would get two queen size beds. By the time, we got there after a long drive, the receiptionest told me the room I booked was not available. We had to stay in a one queen size bed with a folded bed room for a night.
The front desk girl said it has happened quite often. It doesn't matter how early I book the room. Sometime they even send people to other hotels.

The only good thing about this hotel is location which is close to Disneyland.

On the same street, Camelot, Best Western and Tropican are your options. Don't go to this hotel. Charge more but service is bad.

So i read some of the reviews regarding this hotel before I left...and boy do I have to say that they were very wrong...This place was awesome. I figure I will try and give you guys a good explanation of this place. It was me and my girl friend, and both of us where first time travelers to Disneyland. First, check in was great, when we got to the front desk there was 3 people there and no one hesitated to help us out. Checkin was fast and everything was explained perfectly. Ok so the rooms, well lets talk about getting to the rooms first. The elevator that takes you to your room is way too slow, and when you are faced with Disneyland accross the street, there is no time to wait for an elevator. The rooms them selves where large, very clean and supplied with the most common ammenities (TV, Fridge, coffee maker, blow dryer, radio, phone, A/C, fan) you know the normal stuff. I love the fact that there is no ugly flower patterned sheets, and that the white linens where soft and the bed itself was so comfortable it was hard waking up in the morning. And then it clicks in and you realize your in disneyland and "poof" your on your way. The location is another great part about this hotel, probably one of the best parts, you are only a short walk to the park gates (the park is right across the 4 lane highway) , and you can even see the park from your room. It was really nice during the heat of the day, or when our hands where full of bags to just be able to walk to the hotel and drop stuff off or have a swim. Ah, yes the pool. Its a nice pool, little, however it is awesome to jump in when its 2pm and 30+ celcius outside. The pool is located at the top of the building and is open till 10pm and offers a great view of the fireworks while swimming. When you wake up in the morning the continental breakfast is somewhat disapointing, however it is more that enough to take you till lunch, and it helps save you some money as eating in the park is not hugely expensive but not cheap either. The hotel has a Quiznos located at it, and most other hotels have restaurants and shops if you need anything. We found that there was not alot of time spent at the room (7am-12am every day) however when you get back its a great hotel to stay at and I would recommend it to anyone who asked me....have a great trip and remember you in Disneyland

Large rooms, very clean.
Location is fantastic. Straight across the road from the main gate.
Small convenience store next door and plenty of dinning options within 5 min walk.
Breakfast is basic, but ample to get the day started.
laundry on site.
Pool is small, but lets face it, we're there to visit Disneyland, not laze by the pool all day.
We couldn't find fault with this hotel or its staff.

Will continue to recomment this hotel and will stay again.
feel free to email with questions.

We booked our Disneyland vacation through Alaska Airlines on- line. Ideal location, very clean rooms, helpful and friendly staff. Our room was clean & fresh every day. The outside access to our room was pleasant as there were flowering vines on the railings and patio sets to sit upon for an afternoon beverage. Walk to the gates was short. The roof top pool made it a lovely break from the crowds. The breakfast room provided pastries, toast, juice, coffee and fruit daily. We would most definitely recommend this hotel.

We've stayed in Carousel Inn for a whole week in July. The roof-top pool was too small, that my kids did not want to swim there. Too small for such a large hotel. Parking - problem. No internet, not even in the lobby. I actually used the internet in Best Western, cause I stayed there before and used it in their lobby. The breakfast was annoying. The lady during the week would be hiding in the storage room, while all the table were dirty. She was also stingy with the danishes and mini-donuts. She just said there is none left, eventhough it was 8am. They guy during the weekends overseeing the breakfast was always cleaning and bringing more stuff to eat. We liked him. We also liked the cleaning staff, the ladies were nice. Not too impressed with the lobby employees, they were just there to socialize with each other. Overall, not too bad, probably would not stay here again.
