I certainly agree that this is the right place to stay in Bangkok and on the right side of the rier - as the view is spectacular. We stayed in a Balcony room on the 22nd floor and felt blessed to have chosen this hotel against the others of similar standing on the other side. The room and bathroom were beautiful, and everything was done for our comfort.

Nice touch were the complimentary sky train cards and of course the hotel ferries, which took you to the station or across to the other two landing stages. From one, the river bus to the Royal Palace was a real experience.

Before our trip i had emailed the conceige and had excellent service from them arranging trips and restaurant reservations. In fact all the staff were excellent and very polite.

Didn't expect wildlife in Bangkok - was waiting for that in Langkawi, so it was a surprise when on our first day a green tree snake dropped in for a swim in the pool....and from our Balcony we watched an extremely large monitor lizard stroll across the outside Thai restaurant!!!

Would love to visit the hotel again.

Have used trip advisor to book this hotel for three nights in August based on the good reviews it was given, I can only say that of all the five star hotels i have stayed in throughout the world this is my personal best ,based on value for money, service and facilities.
Our room was on the level eighteen with a balcony, and the view of the sky line was amazing.

This hotel is a must if you are willing to spend a little extra to see how a hotel should be run.

This hotel is fantastic!! We stayed in a balcony room on the eight floor, and loved it.

Definately the best hotel we've ever stayed in (and it's not the first five or six-star, so that is not why). I could go back to Bangkok only to stay at this hotel. The service is what I would call intelligent. Nothing to complain about at all.

Exceeded expectations!

The drive to this hotel and the view up to the hotel is spectacular – the entrance grand and the interior stunning.
Staff go through the motions – they are polite but it’s impersonal with a clinical feel.
It’s corporate with mainly business types. Strict dress code in the bars and restaurants and jeans and flip flops are fround upon.
Pool is great but in parts (there are two sections) it needed cleaning. The view of the river impressive and the staff bring you occasional fruit juice shots which are refreshing!
Good free boat service taking you across the river and various parts of Bangkok.
Rooms are well equipped and the upper floors have great views.
Don’t eat here – it’s over priced and VERY average. I had a tuna salad they used tinned tuna I was lucky to have ¼ of the tin included with the just lettuce leaves. The charge for this was £20.
